Springtime is an energetic reset, signaling a season of growth and new beginnings as the world blooms back to life. It’s one of Nature’s many gifts for a fresh start.

108 Sun Salutations is a moving meditation — honoring cycles, letting go of old energy, and clearing a path forward. We celebrated the first day of Spring with this challenging practice to build endurance, cleanse the mind, and remember our innate strength. I’m always inspired by the kind and beautiful soul! Thank you for being here with an open heart 🫶🏼

Our next event will be for the Summer Solstice — Sunday, June 21st at 8:15 AM. Let’s flow together and connect with our inner Sun 🌻

As the days get longer and we get more sunlight ☀︎ inspired by East Asian Medicine and supported by Nobel laureates Hall, Rosbash, & Young for energy management. The Sun strengthens and the Moon nourishes, just as activity and rest are vital for internal harmony. Adjust this schedule accordingly to find your daily rhythm ~

🌅 6 AM to 10 AM: Rise with the Sun. Clear your system (oil pulling, salt rinse, bowel movement, hydrate).

*In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), cooked/warming foods are recommended and the ideal breakfast time is from 7 AM to 9 AM. From 9 AM to 11 AM your Spleen Qi is most active for transforming food to energy.

🍲 10 AM to 2 PM: Manage stress. Digest your largest, most nutrient-dense meal during the body’s peak metabolic window for optimal absorption.

༄.° 2 PM to 6 PM: Check in with your hydration levels. Conclude work activities and start winding down.

🌙 6 PM to 10 PM: Settle with the Moon. Be with yourself (explore hobbies/interests) and spend quality time with loved ones (share a meal), fur babies included.

🛌 10 PM to 2 AM: Begin your bedtime routine to prepare for deep rest and sleep by 11 PM.

*In TCM, deep sleep is crucial from 1 AM to 3 AM when your Liver Qi is most efficient for cleansing the blood, processing emotions, and detoxing your whole system.

🌄 2 AM to 6 AM: Quality rest and slow, fluid breaths. Maintain a consistent wake-up time.

Connect with your heart beat, practice patience as you observe what works, and align to what preserves your soul’s essence ☯︎ we’re all worthy to be here & thrive 🫶🏼

This sensitivity is part of our nature for conscious choices, is key to individual ethics and shared responsibilities, and for cultural perpetuity. We are a part of nature — we’re more alike than we are different.

In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), grief is associated with the lungs. The Heart and Lungs are interconnected, governing the circulation of Blood and Qi. Gentle emotional processing relies on the smooth flow of Blood and Qi. By allowing feelings to naturally flow, love becomes the place of return when grief is felt.

As of the Autumn Equinox, we reached our minimum goal target! For the Winter Solstice, I did a personal practice of 108 Sun Salutations and reflected on how to build a self-sustaining fund when gifting 5+ therapy sessions. 100% of event proceeds in 2025 went into the fund. Moving forward, 1% of my income and at least 35% from the events will continue to grow ’s mutual aid ✨

Maraming salamat to the beautiful souls who join me on this challenge. May you feel anchored in your inherent value through all cycles. Some phases may be lighter or heavier than others and that’s okay. We support self-nourishment and value collective safety in this space.

The dream of a self-sustaining fund inspired the birth of .site ~ a space for nourishing resources to support your holistic well-being and self-love practice. The journey of my ongoing studies in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is affirming the value of ancient practices for modern care. I love that I get to share my passions in mindful movement, energy healing, and cultural reclamation — I’m returning to concepts of Qi and Yin Yang ☯︎

In 2026, let’s unite for the Spring/Autumn Equinox + Summer/Winter Solstice and connect with our inner Sun 🌻

Water adapts, shifts forms (solid-liquid-vapor), and even taking the shape of the container it’s in. It doesn’t ever stop being water though — what we can learn from this element is that it always stays true to its essence/core.

When we find ourselves in situations where we’re navigating an unpredictable climate, needing to adapt to our environments (the containers we find ourselves in), and work through the feelings that come with change, always remember your roots and the cultural traditions that shaped you to bring you back home.

Neuroscience shows that relational hurt (i.e. social rejection, neglect, criticism, abandonment) activates areas of the brain that also process physical pain. Like physical wounds, emotional ones require care and attention to address inflammation and sensitivity — sitting with your feelings and feeling them in the safety of your body.

Notice if your reactions aren’t wholeheartedly reflecting the present, tend to what’s going on within, and connect with your inner sun to guide your way forward ✨

As of the Summer Solstice, we reached more than 70% towards our minimum goal target for mutual aid! Closer to gifting 5+ therapy sessions to an individual in need 🙏🏼✨

What goes into the fund is 1% of my income and donations from the 108 Sun Salutations event.

This is my fourth round of 108 🌞 greetings. Maraming salamat, magandang loob, for showing up and flowing with me 🤎 grateful for your presence. We started with safety guidelines then concluded with closing reflections while snacking on Da Zao (red dates) to nourish the heart.

Kind souls are always welcome to join!

Looking to challenge yourself in a safe space? Embody what it means to move through the cycles on the mat and in your life with 108 Sun Salutations, in Sanskrit (an ancient, classical language of India), Surya Namaskar 🪷

The next one will be for the Autumn Equinox — Monday, September 22nd at 8:15 AM.

Let’s flow together ☀️🌱

As of the Spring Equinox, we reached more than 20% towards our minimum goal target! Getting closer to gifting at least 5 therapy sessions for an individual in need 🙏🏼✨

Here are our community guidelines that we returned to during the practice. As participants settled into shavasana, I played a Tibetan singing bowl (tuned to the note F) over their heart chakra. I shared my favorite ritual oil and herbal snacks — Blue Lotus Moringa, Da Zao (jujubes), Hu Tao Ren (walnuts), and Gou Qi Zi (wolfberry fruit or goji berries) as we held space for closing reflections.

Blue Lotus has roots in ancient Egyptian culture. It is associated with the cycle of death and rebirth — the beginning of light. Da Zao in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is known for ‘nourishing the blood’ and ‘calming the spirit.’ As an adaptogenic herb, it promotes emotional balance and stress management (beneficial for menstrual cycles and postpartum recovery). Hu Tao Ren ‘strengthens the sinews/bones’ and ‘replenishes Jing or Essence’ (supportive for virility). I think of jujubes and walnuts as a balance between Yin and Yang principles ☯️ Gou Qi Zi ‘moistens the lungs’ and maintains energy/vitality (great for heart health and athletic performance).

To maintain privacy, faces are covered and group photos are sent to each participant. Please share in the way that helps you feel most secure 🌻
