It’s not just a smile, it’s a lifetime supply of confidence!✨

The main orthodontic concerns were:
🔘 Severe open bite where the front teeth do not overlap vertically
🔘 Constricted and narrow upper and lower jaws
🔘 Spacing between the upper and lower front teeth

Because these problems were caught when the patient was young, we were able to use upper and lower braces to expand and align her upper and lower teeth during an early phase of treatment. Elastics or rubber bands were used with the braces to close the open bite!

SMILE TRANSFORMATION 🤩

The main concerns were:
✨ Missing two upper incisor teeth, which left gaps in his smile.
✨ Missing a lower tooth that never came in, leaving a baby molar in place that would have eventually failed.

When teeth are missing, the decision has to be made whether those teeth should be replaced or whether the spaces should be closed.

In this case, we decided to close the spaces and reshape the canine teeth to look like the missing lateral incisors. This is known as substitution treatment.

The biggest benefit? Avoiding dental implants. When done well, the smile looks completely natural, and nobody would ever know there were missing teeth😊
