If it’s been years since you’ve worked out, have patience with yourself.

You don’t need to jump right back into heavy weights or intense workouts.

Ease your way back in.

Start with bodyweight exercises. Do some squats. Get out and walk. Let your body adjust, then gradually build from there.

You don’t have to start where you used to be. Just start where you are. 💪

đź’¬ Are you getting back into fitness after some time away?

Yesterday Coach picked the squat as the #1 exercise every woman over 40 should master.

So what’s next?

Romanian deadlifts, or RDLs.

RDLs are great for strengthening your glutes, hamstrings, hips, and the muscles along the back of your body.

Master the movement first, then gradually increase the challenge as you get stronger. đź’Ş

What exercise do you think Coach picked next? đź‘€

If Coach could choose just one exercise, it would be the squat.

Why?

Because squats help build strength for everyday life.

Getting up from a chair. Picking up your grandkids. Climbing stairs. Staying independent as you age.

Start with good form. Master the movement. Then gradually increase the challenge as you get stronger.

Strong legs. Strong body. Strong future.

đź’¬ Is the squat one of your favorite exercises?

If building strength is your goal, lift first.

Strength training requires energy and focus. If you do intense cardio first, you may not have enough left to get the most from your workout.

Cardio still has its place. Just make sure it supports your goal instead of working against it.

Train with purpose. Get better results.

đź’¬ Team cardio first or weights first?

07/26/2026

Absolutely.

Why is home any different than anywhere else?

Your muscles don’t know if you’re in a home gym or a commercial gym. They only know if they’re being challenged.

Bodyweight exercises are a great place to start. But if you never increase the challenge, your body has no reason to keep building strength.

Progress comes from gradually making your workouts more challenging over time.

đź’¬ Where do you work out most? Home or the gym?

Heavy looks different for everyone.

The goal isn’t to lift the heaviest weight in the gym. The goal is to lift a weight that challenges you.

As you get stronger, gradually increase the weight while maintaining good form. That’s how you continue building strength safely and effectively.

Lift smarter. Get stronger. One workout at a time.

One of the fastest ways to improve your workouts isn’t lifting heavier, it’s improving your form.

Good form helps you target the right muscles, build strength more effectively, and reduce your risk of injury.

Coach shares a simple way to know if you’re performing your exercises correctly so you can train with confidence.

One of the biggest fitness myths is that you need to spend hours in the gym to see results.

The truth? It’s not about how long you work out—it’s about how effectively you train.

Coach explains how to make every workout count so you can build strength, stay consistent, and fit fitness into your busy life.

One of the biggest questions women ask is, “How much weight should I lift?”

The answer isn’t about lifting the heaviest weight you can, it’s about choosing a weight that challenges you while allowing you to maintain good form.

Coach breaks it down in a simple way so you can train with more confidence and get stronger over time.

đź’Ş Are you lifting too light, too heavy, or just right? Tell us below!
