During the first week of the fall semester, we had the opportunity to host our Rebel Ready Ceremony, celebrating our G1 class as they begin their journey toward becoming physical therapists and honoring the hard work that brought them here! 💪🩺🧠❤️‍🔥

A huge thank you to PRN for their generous donation of PT kits to our G1 students! These hands-on tools will support their education throughout PT school as they develop foundational examination and treatment skills and build confidence in clinical practice.

Join us as Dr. Gailey presents “Integrating mHealth and Evidence-Based Practice in the Intelligent Era of Amputee Care and Prosthetic Rehabilitation.”

Dr. Robert Gailey is a renowned Professor at the University of Miami with over 40 years of experience in physical therapy and prosthetics research. Creator of the Amputee Mobility Predictor, his work continues to shape modern prosthetics, functional rehabilitation, and wearable technology.

Whether you’re dealing with pain, recovering from an injury, or looking to prevent one, the College of Fine Arts Clinic for Health & Injury Prevention (CFA CHIP) is here to support you!

The CFA CHIP provides FREE services by appointment for any CFA student. Screenings and evaluations are offered by UNLV physical therapy students under the direction of Department of Physical Therapy faculty members Dustin Clow, Keoni Kins, and Brandi Varnado.

We are currently looking for unimpaired participants to act as controls in our research project examining sensation in amputees. We are matching our controls based on age (+/- 1 year) and s*x. If you or someone you know is within 1 year old of the participants listed below, we would greatly appreciate their participation!

The research will consist of 1-2 sessions, lasting no more than 2 hours each, during which we will conduct a simple, painless test of sensation. They will be rewarded with a $25 Amazon gift card for each session they complete.
