Birth Hope • Cassie Franco, CPM, CLD Midwife • Doula • Educator
Evidence-based care. Rooted in connection. Grounded in hope. Birth is powerful and it matters. I look forward to working with you.

Not only are you welcoming a wonderful little babe to the world, you are becoming a mother, a family. It is a time of learning, exploring, asking questions and facing fears. The births of my three children sparked a journey toward knowledge, empowerment and a calling to serve birthing families in our community. As a doula, I want to support you as you discover your hopes and needs for labor and b

irth. I have experience with home, hospital, natural, medicated and surgical birth, and I draw on these experiences as well as my ongoing studies to assist you in a warm, relevant way. I offer a calm presence, emotional support, physical comfort measures and an objective viewpoint. Some tools I use include affirmations, guided visualizations, gentle touch, counter pressure, position changes and aromatherapy. I have a particular interest in helping partners participate to their level of comfort. I love dancing, horses, sunshine and my family. Happy birthing.

Hope isn’t just dreaming.

Hope is what moves us to act despite fear, uncertainty, or the unknown.

Hope is possibility.

At Birth Hope, hope is part of the map. It guides the work I do and the way I care for people.

Hope doesn’t promise certainty.
It inspires movement.

What do you hope for?

Introducing Birth Hope. 🤍

You may — or may not — have noticed some changes around here. After more than a decade in birth work, I’ve officially rebranded my practice.

Welcome to Birth Hope Las Vegas.

Truthfully, “Cassie Franco Midwife” never fully fit. That ok name was created during my years a large birth worker group formerly in Las Vegas. It never fully fit because:

This work has never been about me.

It’s about you. The families I have the immense honor of walking beside through pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenthood.

So why Birth Hope?

People often think of hope as something light or dreamy — but to me, hope is grounded. Rooted. Foundational.

Hope is what bridges our fears and our dreams.

And what requires more hope than creating, growing, birthing, and loving up a baby? New life is the very essence of hope.

Birth Hope is more than a business name. It’s a reflection of the care I want to offer: warm, collaborative, evidence-informed, deeply human care rooted in connection, trust, education, and love.

So welcome to this little baby I’m growing, too.

I’m so glad you’re here. 🤍

My kids are my greatest joy. And yet, motherhood is the hardest thing I’ve ever done.

Both of those things are true at the same time for me.

Motherhood shines a light on every unhealed place in me. Every weak spot. Every way I still want to grow, soften, repair, and show up more authentically.

I think many of us enter motherhood carrying things we didn’t choose. Patterns. Fears. Grief. Ways we were loved well, and ways we weren’t seen. And somewhere along the way, we make quiet decisions about what we want to continue and what we hope to do differently.

To the mothers in the thick of it — loving fiercely, learning as you go, carrying more than anyone sees — I see you. I am deeply honored to witness and care for you.

Happy Mother’s Day. 🤍

Today is International Day of the Midwife. 🤍

Midwifery has shaped the way I think about birth, care, systems, advocacy, parenting, safety, and humanity itself.

Some of these lessons I learned through my clients. Some through my own life.
All of them changed me.

And in the WHO Year of the Midwife, the call for one million more midwives feels more important now than ever. Competent, loving, skilled, human care? Yes, please.

Not just because midwives catch babies. But because they hold birthing people, families, and communities.
