🌞🐾 Hot weather can be dangerous for our fur babies.

Our pets are at risk of **heatstroke, dehydration, burned paw pads, and sunburn** when temperatures rise. Watch for signs like excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, vomiting, weakness, or difficulty breathing—these can be signs of a medical emergency.

Help keep your pets safe by:
💧 Providing plenty of fresh water
🌳 Keeping them in the shade or air conditioning
🚶 Walking during the cooler parts of the day
🚗 Never leaving them in a parked car
🐾 Checking pavement before walks to protect their paws (or bootie’s)

A little extra care during hot weather can make all the difference. Stay cool, stay hydrated, and help keep your pets safe this summer! 🐾🐶🐱

🇺🇸✨ The 4th of July is almost here! While we may love the fireworks, many of our furry friends don't. 🐾💥

Meet Leroy 🐾💙
This sweet 15-year-old neutered mixed-breed boy came to us with a malignant melanoma in his a**l sac. After surgery, Leroy has recovered beautifully and is feeling better than ever!

Seeing our senior pups bounce back and enjoy life again is why we do what we do. Cheers to many more tail wags, comfy naps, and happy days ahead, Leroy! ✨🐶

🐱 A quick note on feline health & preventative care:

We recently treated a patient with feline panleukopenia (often called “parvo” in cats😢) - a serious but preventable viral illness.

This virus is highly resilient in the environment and can be picked up outdoors, even without direct contact with another sick cat. The good news is that routine vaccination is very effective at preventing infection.

We follow strict cleaning and disinfection protocols to keep our patients safe, and cases like this are a good reminder of how important preventative care can be.

If your cat is due (or overdue) for vaccines, or if you have any questions about their protection, feel free to reach out - we’re always happy to help.

Sweet Zeus came in for a little head lump removal, and we’re so grateful we got to take care of such a brave and adorable boy. 🐶💙

His mass was successfully removed, and he handled everything like the champ he is. Zeus is now recovering comfortably at home, getting plenty of rest, love, and (hopefully) a few extra treats. 🩺✨

We appreciate the trust his family placed in us to care for him, and we’re so happy to hear he’s doing great. Keep healing, Zeus, we can’t wait to see that happy face again! 🐾

🐾✨ Tiny Bump? Big deal! ✨🐾

Meet our sweet fur baby, Sully 💙🐾
This handsome guy had the tiniest little bump, barely there! We did a quick FNA just to be safe, and surprise… it turned out to be cancer.
The good news? Because it was caught early, it was removed before it could cause bigger problems. 🙌✨

Moral of Sully’s story: even the smallest bumps deserve a closer look. Early checks = extra protection for our best friends. 🐶💕

Just because it’s pea-sized doesn’t mean it gets a free pass. Even the tiniest lumps deserve a quick check with an FNA (fine needle aspiration). 💉
