What a wonderful week at Magnificent Me! ๐Ÿ’œ Our young ladies spent the week building confidence, independence, and valuable life skills through everyday experiences. From grocery shopping for our sack lunch items and volunteering at the The Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry, Inc. to enjoying a fun Minions movie at Movie Tavern, bowling at Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Centers creating a summer weather craft, spending the day at Topgolf, participating in Bible study, and preparing delicious ham and cheese sliders with fresh strawberry smoothies with strawberries from the one and only Merk Farms, every activity had a purpose.

At Magnificent Me, we believe life skills are best learned through hands-on experiences. Whether practicing budgeting, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, cooking, or serving others, each day provides opportunities for growth while making meaningful memories. We are so proud of our ladies and the progress they continue to make. Thank you to our families and supporters for being part of this incredible journey! ๐Ÿ’œ

We hope everyone had a wonderful Independence Day filled with laughter, family, friends, and unforgettable memories!

Our Magnificent Me ladies celebrated in so many fun ways - watching fireworks, swimming, enjoying delicious cookouts, spending time with loved ones, and making the most of a beautiful holiday weekend. Seeing their smiles and hearing about all of their adventures reminds us how special these moments are.

What a FUN-filled week weโ€™ve had at Magnificent Me!

Our ladies kicked off the festivities with a delicious lunch at Tequila Mama, where they enjoyed great food, laughter, and fellowship. Then it was time to mix up some festive red, white, and blue mocktails as everyone showed off their creativity while learning fun kitchen skills!

The excitement continued with a 4th of July Mall Scavenger Hunt, where teamwork, problem-solving, and lots of smiles made for an unforgettable adventure.

To wrap up our Independence Day celebration, we cooled off with a pool party at, enjoyed plenty of sunshine, and finished the day with everyoneโ€™s favoriteโ€”pizza! ๐Ÿ•โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿ–๏ธ

Days like these remind us that learning happens everywhere through community, friendships, new experiences, and making memories that last a lifetime.

We are so thankful for our amazing ladies, supportive families, dedicated staff, and everyone who helps make Magnificent Me such a special place.

What an incredible week weโ€™re having at Magnificent Me! ๐Ÿ’œ

We started the week with an energizing workout led by Mr. Wayne, followed by a fun shopping trip to Kroger and Hobby Lobby to pick out supplies for our fun Fourth of July craft! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

On Tuesday, we kept the momentum going with another great workout at Next Level Fitcamp before enjoying lunch at Panda Express and spending the afternoon creating patriotic masterpieces together to wear to our 4th of July pool party! ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฒ

Today was filled with adventure as we visited Braggs Ferry to spend time with the ostriches, donkeys, mini horses, goats, and camels! After making special memories with the animals, we enjoyed lunch at the The Old Corner Hardware Store and walked around Downtown Royston for some small shopping, we finished our day with a sweet treat from Culver's. ๐Ÿช๐Ÿฅช๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿฆ

Every day at Magnificent Me is about so much more than activities! itโ€™s about building confidence, encouraging independence, strengthening friendships, and creating meaningful experiences that bring joy, laughter, and lasting memories.

We are so thankful for another amazing week together and canโ€™t wait to finish the week strong! ๐Ÿ’œโœจ

This week was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of fun as our ladies enjoyed a trip to the playground at Rock Springs Park, practiced important life skills during grocery shopping at Kroger, worked together in the kitchen to prepare a delicious meal, and wrapped up the week with an exciting afternoon of bowling at Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Centers! ๐ŸŽณ๐Ÿ›’๐Ÿณ๐ŸŒณ

What a wonderful week weโ€™ve had so far!

We kicked things off by getting our bodies moving and our energy flowing with Mr. Wayne at Phaze 3. Next, we enjoyed a fun outing to Movie Tavern to watch the new Toy Story 5! ๐Ÿฟ๐ŸŽฌ

To wrap up our mid-week activities, we got our hands dirty planting sunflowers, wildflowers, and gourds at the beautiful Braggs Ferry. ๐ŸŒป๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒฑ We canโ€™t wait to watch them grow and bloom beautifully throughout the season!

Dear Camp Shine Families,

After much prayer and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Camp Shine this summer. Due to lower-than-anticipated participation, unforeseen circumstances, and our commitment to providing the highest quality experience possible, we need to focus our time and resources on serving the precious individuals currently entrusted to our care.

While we're disappointed we won't be gathering for Camp Shine this year, we remain excited about the future. Our hope is to come back bigger, stronger, and able to provide an even more impactful Camp Shine experience.

Thank you for your understanding, encouragement, and continued support of Magnificent Me. We are grateful for each of you and invite you to follow along as we continue to grow. Please watch for our future events, programs, and opportunitiesโ€”we look forward to sharing what's ahead and hope you'll join us for a future Camp Shine.

A Week of Purpose, Advocacy & Community ๐Ÿ’œ๐Ÿ’œ

This week, the ladies of Magnificent Me kicked off a special day by enjoying lunch together at MOD Pizza. There was plenty of laughter, conversation, and excitement!

From there, we ventured to our stateโ€™s Capitol to stand alongside advocates, families, and community leaders in support of the NOW and COMP Waivers. Every person deserves access to the services and supports they need to live a full, meaningful life, and we were proud to lend our voices to this important cause.

We wrapped up the week the Magnificent Me way - with great food, even better company, and a visit to one of our favorite spots, Tequila Mama! ๏ฟผItโ€™s these moments of friendship, inclusion, and shared experiences that remind us why we do what we do.

Thank you to everyone who continues to advocate for individuals with varying abilities. Together, weโ€™re making a difference - one voice, one experience, and one opportunity at a time. ๐Ÿ’œ

Itโ€™s been a week full of purpose, friendship, and fun!

We started the week at Braggs Ferry, planting beautiful wildflowers and helping make the property even more beautiful for everyone to enjoy and enjoying a delicious meal at The Old Corner Hardware Store ๐ŸŒผ๐ŸŒฟ

Next, our ladies rolled up their sleeves in the kitchen and baked homemade banana bread to share as a heartfelt thank you to those who bless and support our mission. ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿž๐Ÿ’›

Today, we enjoyed a Chick-fil-A picnic before heading to Stars and Strikes Family Entertainment Centers, where everyone had a blast cheering each other on during some friendly competition! ๐Ÿงบ๐Ÿ„โค๏ธ๐ŸŽณ
