Our mission at TrueNorth Child and Adolescent therapy is to facilitate the development of healthy, resilient children and families through ACEs-aware, trauma-informed Therapy. Our goal is to help our clients process trauma and teach them how to implement strategies to build healthy thought patterns leading to a foundation for lifelong resilience and well-being. In order to accomplish this mission, we focus on building safe, stable, supportive relationships with our clients, their family, and our community. These connections help us to build the foundations that will make a lasting difference for healthy development by buffering the effects of stress, developmental issues, adversity, and trauma. We believe that this focus on relationship building helps to ensure our clients that they are in a safe place and are not going through this process alone.

I am excited to announce that I have added a second office in Bonham, Texas in addition to my office in Plano. Many of my clients come to counseling feeling overwhelmed by trauma, PTSD, relationship difficulties, marital issues, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life transitions, women’s issues, or abuse and spiritual wounds, and are looking for practical tools as well as a compassionate place to heal.

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive environment where healing and lasting change can occur. I specialize in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and trauma-informed therapy, helping clients process painful memories, reduce emotional distress, and move forward with renewed hope and confidence.

I respect the unique beliefs and values of every client. For those who desire it, I offer Christian counseling that thoughtfully integrates biblical principles, faith, and prayer into the therapeutic process. My goal is to provide professional, compassionate care while honoring each client's personal spiritual journey.
