How I Got Started in the Wig Business and Embraced Wigs in My Wardrobe
My journey into the wig business began over two decades ago when I discovered the transformative power of wigs. Initially, I explored wigs out of curiosity, but soon I realized their immense potential to enhance personal style and confidence. As I incorporated wigs into my wardrobe, I fell in love with my newfound elevated appearance.
One memorable experience that stands out is when I lost my wig on the dance floor during an unexpected dip. Instead of panicking, I stayed calm and collected. Surprisingly, this reaction influenced those around me, turning an embarrassing moment into a fun, shared laugh.
Another significant moment was when I was trapped in an elevator with my niece. Initially, I felt a surge of panic, but I quickly reminded myself that I didn't want my niece to worry. I forced myself to remain calm and collected, and in doing so, I kept her calm as well. This experience taught me the power of maintaining composure in stressful situations and how it can positively affect others.
These experiences have reinforced my belief in the importance of staying calm under pressure and how our reactions can shape others' perspectives. Glamping up has fueled my passion for wigs as a fashion statement and a staple in my wardrobe, where I continue to help others discover the confidence and joy that wigs can bring to their lives.
