It’s back to school season…. But sending your kids off to college is a whole lot more than just putting them on the bus again. Here’s some sage advice from someone who’s been there before.

Self compassion is something we all struggle with. As a therapist, I am usually great at being kind to others, but not so forgiving of myself!

When life is hard, we all deserve comfort, encouragement, and forgiveness, but actually being kinder to ourselves can feel awkward, especially if we're not used to it. These ideas could help.
