Livingston Regional Hospital (LRH) is a 114-bed hospital providing patient-centered care covering all aspects of healthcare, from 24-hour emergency services, Level II-A neonatal nursery, a 16-bed geropsychology unit, inpatient and outpatient Rehab Center, general surgery, orthopedic surgery, mammogram, MRI services and several over services. Fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the hospital in Livingston, TN serves an eight-county area in central Tennessee and southern Kentucky.

June is Men’s Health Month, an annual reminder of the gender’s challenges when it comes to health. Men, on average, live five years less than women. Men, on average, take part in annual wellness visits 25% less than women. Even Men’s Health Month (June) comes up a day short when compared to Women’s Health Month (May). This is a community no one asks to join, yet its members show extraordinary strength, resilience, and hope. Their stories remind us that early detection saves lives and that healthy choices today can help reduce cancer risk tomorrow.
