I think a lot more mothers carry guilt, grief, shame, and pain around feeding after birth than we openly talk about.

This is for the moms grieving the experience they thought they’d have.
The moms trying every latch technique Google could offer.
The moms washing pump parts while crying in the kitchen.
The moms whose babies needed bottles before breast.
The moms wondering if they already missed their chance.

And also for the moms who decide breastfeeding is no longer what’s best for their body, mental health, baby, or family.

You are not failing.

Fed babies need supported mothers too.

Mother’s Day looks different when you work in postpartum care. 🤍

I get a front row seat to the most raw, exhausting, beautiful version of motherhood there is. The middle-of-the-night feeds. The recovery after birth. The overwhelming love mixed with complete exhaustion. The quiet moments where a mom finally gets to close her eyes and truly rest for the first time in days.

Supporting mothers during this season will never stop feeling like a privilege to me.

This Mother’s Day, I hope every mom knows this:
you deserve care too.
You were never meant to do this alone.

Mothers deserve to be mothered too. 🤍

Hey y’all! I have a rare opening the week of June 14th for in-home sleep support in Austin, TX 🤍

If your baby’s sleep has been feeling all over the place, early wakes, short naps, constant guessing… this is where I come in.

This is hands-on support in your home so you’re not trying to figure it out alone.

What this looks like:
• a customized sleep plan and schedule
• overnight, in-home support while we implement together
• real-time adjustments based on your baby
• 1 month of follow-up support

I’m a postpartum doula and sleep consultant, and I don’t open weeks like this often. When I do, they tend to fill quickly.

If you’ve been thinking about getting support, this is a really good time.

Message me “SLEEP” or send me a DM and we’ll see if it’s a good fit

There’s so much focus on how to “heal” in postpartum…
but coming back to the basics can do more for your nervous system than anything else.

Eat. Drink water. Step outside. Take a shower.

That is healing too.

We’ve done a really good job at teaching moms how to avoid inductions and C-sections.

But we haven’t done a great job at talking about what happens emotionally when you actually need one.

Because it’s not just a medical shift.
It’s an emotional one too.

It can feel like things are happening fast.
Like you lost your say.
Like the birth you imagined is slipping away.

And that’s real. I see it all the time.

But needing support in birth is not a failure.
And a positive birth is not defined by avoiding interventions.

It’s defined by how you’re treated.
How things are explained to you.
Whether you feel informed, included, and supported.

You can still have a calm, connected, empowering experience
even if the plan changes.

That’s not talked about enough.

If you’re preparing for birth in Austin TX and want to feel grounded no matter how it unfolds, I’m here.

Pregnant, postpartum, or just trying to figure it all out, this space is for you.

This month at Bump to Babe Circle, we’re talking all things pregnancy, postpartum, and real-life support in a relaxed, come-as-you-are space.

We’ll also be joined by Heather Russo, a prenatal massage therapist here in Lockhart, sharing ways to support your body through pregnancy.

And a big thank you to Vida Wellness for putting together goodie bags for attendees this month. We’re so grateful for their support.

No pressure. No expectations. Just real conversation, support, and community.

Come sit with us.

Newborns don’t come with a manual, but they do give you clues 🤍

One of the biggest things I see in those early weeks is parents second guessing themselves.
“Are they still hungry?”
“Did I not feed enough?”
“Why are they still crying?”

The truth is hunger cues and gas cues can look almost identical in newborns. Same movements, same fussiness, totally different needs.

But once you start listening for the sound of the cry, it gets so much easier to respond with confidence instead of guessing.

And that matters, especially at 2am when everyone is tired and emotions are high.

You’re not doing anything wrong. You’re learning your baby 🤍

If you’re in the newborn stage right now, save this for later. You’ll want it.
And if you know a new mom, send this to her. She deserves support too.

Sleep training gets such a bad reputation
but most moms I work with aren’t trying to ignore their baby

they’re trying to survive

the reality is… most mothers in the U.S. are going back to work way sooner than they should
and they don’t have the luxury of resting when the baby rests

they need sleep
because they have to function
they have to show up
they have to go to work

and that’s not a failure
that’s the system we’re living in

so no, this isn’t about “just letting your baby cry”
it’s about helping your baby learn to sleep in a way that supports your whole family

with responsiveness, structure, and intention

my job is to help you get sleep
in a way that still feels good to you
in a way that protects your mental health
and in a way that respects your baby too

you don’t have to choose between being a good parent and being a rested human

if you’re in the thick of it right now, i see you 🤍
and if you want support, i’ve got you

real s**t I’d tell you after you had a baby:

no one feels fully prepared
everyone is more tired than they expected
and somehow no one talks about what’s actually normal

you’re healing
you’re learning your baby
you’re doing your best on very little sleep

that’s a lot for one person

if you’re in this stage right now
I see you 🤍

and if you want support that actually feels calm, realistic, and not overwhelming
I’m here
