Hello hello! I’m Krista and this is Nalu Healing + Wellness, we are in a huge transition, what better time to introduce us!
Nalu Healing was started/founded months after I graduated massage school in early 2014, I knew right away I wanted to work for myself and started that journey. And what a journey it has been! Nalu has followed me to 4 states (CO-IN-OR-SD) and has now landed back in Colorado, where it began.
I began my journey into the health space right after high school when I became a CNA and began going to school for pre-nursing (and wanted to be a mom/baby nurse, of course). The longer I worked in hospitals the more I realized I don’t wanna work in this system of sick care. It took me awhile to figure out what to do next and I contemplated many things - psychology, acupuncture, doula, midwifery, but was getting more into holistic health and wellness!!
I ended up at Red Rocks Community College in the holistic health practitioner program. After graduation from RRCC, I went to massage school where I feel deeply in love with the body and also craniosacral therapy (CST)! After graduating massage school I spent a couple years training with the Upledger institute in CST. After working hands on for a few years I was feeling like something was missing from my practice and decided to become a certified health coach. I have now taken additional trainings in energy work, sound healing, nutrition, movement and more! I love learning and plan to continue learning new things forever!! I’m a body nerd!
It has been my dream to have a full CST practice since learning it but life took me in other directions and I ended up being a therapeutic cupping therapist for the past 10 years and working with athletic people “fixing” their bodies. But my desire since high school has been to work in the perinatal space taking care of, supporting, and nurturing mamas and babies!
I moved back to CO the end of 2025 and decided, new place, new space, what better time to build the practice I’ve been dreaming of for many years. No more massage, just CST. No more athletes (unless you’re a postpartum athlete :)) just mamas and their sweet babies.
Welcome to you all!
