I am so excited for this coming Monday ✨

Finally, we have an opportunity where you and I can partner to make a change to your health and fitness, and transform your life as a result. It’s open only until the end of this week.

To take this opportunity, click here >> https://ronandiego.com/beyond-body (link is in my bio or DM me for this link)

Keep reading to know what this is all about.

Because you’re part of my community, then I know that health and fitness is a value to you. I also know that this is an area of life that is hard to change all by yourself.

It gets to a point that you know that things need to change for you but you haven’t been consistent to achieve your goals or are procrastinating to even define a clear goal to commit to. If this is where you’re at now, then know that things are not lost. In fact, this is where everyone starts when they’re about to make a huge shift in their lives.

And this is where I can mentor, coach, and support you if you want to do this now.

I have opened my first ever group coaching and mentoring program for holistic health and fitness. I call it Beyond Body.

It works like this: you join this 3-month program and I personally guide you to create a permanent shift in your body and mind. We interact live every week, you receive additional instructional videos from me, and clear weekly challenges through an app. And the magic happens.

This is the only time that I’ll do this program in a small group. This will be a great chance for us to have a closer touch and to work together.

Beyond Body starts this Monday, October 10th. There are only a few slots open and the enrollment closes today or earlier if all slots get filled before.

Come. Let’s make this change happen once and for all. You can do this, I can help you, and now is the time.

If you have any questions, send me a DM on instagram and let’s talk :)

Much love 😀

If the Dalai Lama came to your house as a guest, how would you prepare dinner?

There are things you would not do. Like fast-food delivery. Can you imagine? The Dalai Lama comes for a dinner and the Domino's guy arrives with some stuff in a cardboard box.

There are other things you would probably want to do. Like going to a local farmer and buying something organic that he grew himself. Then, you would hire a chef, or better yet, practice a dish for three weeks in advance so that you could serve something you made with your own hands.

That's an exaggerated example. But if you play it out you see that you would be up for doing things that you normally don't do but from a place of inspiration.

This is called reverence. And it's fuelled by a sense of respect. It can be a strong source of personal power when self-discipline is not showing up.

What if you offered 1% of that reverence towards your body? You can start by asking your body "what would I be doing today if I respected you a little more?" and journal on what comes.

If this is insightful then you may like to know that I guide exercises like this every week with a Body Talk video newsletter.

You can join it for free right now and get access also to my private telegram group.

I have something to give to you.

I asked people who did my courses what the most powerful tool they learned from me to transform their health was. And I decided to make it available for free to everyone.

This tool is a simple and powerful exercise we do at least once a week. Every week it's a bit different. So to honor my decision, it entails facilitating this exercise every week online. This is what I'm going to do.

In fact, it started already.

Watch the video for more details.

If you want to join a small community who are doing this exercise every week and who are committed to make health and fitness a way of living, the link is in my bio ;)

Much love,
Ronan

I did my Peaceful Warrior morning ritual yesterday at the Mindvalley Supercoach event.

It’s one of my favorite ways of connecting with others – through the body.

It’s different than connecting through words. Because it’s about getting our bodies in sync.

When I connect through a deep conversation, the connection can be seen from different angles between me and the other person.

Imagine you share something personal with me. You feel seen and heard, I feel gratitude for your trust and admiration for the beauty I’ve witnessed in you.

We are connected, yet from different angles.

When I use the body the connection is such that everybody gets on the same state. No one is exchanging words but everyone is on the same level at the end.

To me, this is what the Peaceful Warrior does when it’s done in a group.

It uses a bit of Qi Gong to open meridians of the body. A bit of yoga to increase spine mobility and help you to stay present. It also brings breathwork to the mix to first stimulate the body and then to ground the mind.

At the end, even though nobody exchanges words, everybody feels connected because they sync their bodies to experience a shared state.

Thank you to all the Mindvalley coaches who practiced the Peaceful Warrior with me yesterday 🙏

If you are in Mindvalley University right now, I’ll be leading the extended, 1h version of this practice on Wednesday morning. It’s longer, more intense, and also more fun.

If you are not but want to try the 7min version that I do every morning, I recorded it for you and you can get it for free. The link is in my bio.

Here’s one of my favourite gifts of intermittent fasting: extra brain power 🧠

If you never tried fasting then think about the opposite - how sleepy you feel after eating lunch. Or that huge energy crash after a big feast.

That’s because your digestive system uses a lot of energy to break down the food you just ate.

Moreover, it’s so easy to decide to go get some food as a way to procrastinate. Oooh this is a big one. Have you ever used food as an excuse to procrastinate an important task you don’t want to do? I have never. But my alter ego who sometimes takes over does that a lot 😆

If you’re not eating for a period of the day, not only you have more energy available to focus but also that sneaky thing of distracting yourself with food is no longer an option.

This is why a lot of people practice fasting even when they’re not interested in weight loss.

I get my most cognitive demanding tasks done in the morning, before I eat or drink anything. But I’m not alone here.

Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, said he is a big fan of intermittent fasting for the mental clarity it gives him. has posted and spoken on interviews about her intermittent fasting practice. And … man, his brain is already in an everlasting firework of ideas at baseline. I think that when he fasts it’s the universe who downloads things from him.

If you want to learn how to harness intermittent fasting as an incredibly effective (and struggle-free) tool for your body, mind and soul, sign up for this my new free Masterclass with Mindvalley.

How do you get Hugh Jackman's body? Well, you don't. But you can get the best version of your own. That's much better.

People say "I want get a body like this guy or this woman.”

This is great to get you started on your fitness journey. But eventually you need to shift out of that to go deeper.

I wanted to be like Conan the Barbarian. For years I ran myself into the ground, trained twice a day, and drank shakes with rice powder, raw eggs, and peanut butter.

All I got was a lot of fatigue, body fat, and a low back injury.

My body was not designed to be that large. A lot of what we can achieve is shaped by our genetics. Don't get me wrong, you can develop a body that is really fit, performs, feels, and looks wonderful. But the way it will be like depends on how it’s designed.

It's like you have a sports car. But you take if off-road and try to outperform the trucks.

This gave me the chance to recognize that my body had other strengths:

- it can lift very heavy for my size which allows me to do some powerlifting.

- it's got really high endurance. I even won the largest obstacle circuit race in Asia with 11,000 runners the first time I ran it.

- it has a top central nervous system. It makes my metabolism more flexible and thus extra hard to burn fat but it allows me to experience stressors without even feeling it. My body can stay under pressure, experience fasting, heat, cold, pain, discomfort, and I still function like a balanced human being.

Then I felt so proud about the body I was born with.

Do you know what are your body's strengths?

That’s a big reason why I love the 10X program. In just 30min per week it develops your body's total-fitness: strength + muscle mass + endurance + mobility.

You start to understand what your body strengths are. Is it a truck? A sports car? How can you enjoy more of what it's made for?

We made a free 90-min masterclass to explain more about this program. The link is bit.ly/10xmindvalley

I wish you never get Hugh Jackman's body (or Kim Kardashian, if you're more into it). But rather, that you get the best version of your own and that you be proud of it :)

I don't think it's just me. If you also realized that lifting weights brought you much more than changes to your physique let me know in the comments.

The reason why started lifting weights was purely aesthetics. But the reason why I kept doing it was all the transformation that I was not expecting.

🔥First, there are massive changes not only in the way your body LOOKS but in the way your body FEELS.

👉Your blood circulation massively improves, your body can deliver oxygen to your brain and to your muscles more effectively and you feel that "your energy has increased".
👉Your joints improve their range of motion, the pains from stiffness, or from muscular imbalances go away, and you feel "you're lighter".

🧠Then, there are changes in the intellectual and emotional realms.

👉By lifting heavy you increase your baseline of testosterone (men and women) and you start to feel "you're more motivated at work".
👉Your brain produces more BDNF that accelerates the birth of new neurons and you notice “you're way more focused".
👉With endorphins your mood lifts and you feel now “more enthusiastic about life".

🦸‍♂️But what I appreciate the most are the changes that start to happen in your sense of identity.

👉Lifting heavy is uncomfortable. By training weekly you're now practicing taking on challenges that feel hard and stay in control. You're no longer afraid of the discomfort.
👉You're feeling more confident by spending more time in that zone that you're under tension and you keep going for a few more repetitions.
👉You develop a sense of respect and admiration for how powerful your body is and that reflects as more self respect and admiration.
👉You're no longer abandoning your body and health. You're making your wellbeing a priority and that makes you honor who you are.
👉As your body gets stronger you feel you're a stronger person. You're now experiencing more of your own power.

Something that excited me to develop 10X was not only seeing people changing their bodies but seeing them realize they were getting much more than they expected.

If you want to know more about how 10X works, we made a 90-min FREE masterclass to introduce it to you.

06/01/2021

I don't think everyone should try to transform their bodies.

But I think everyone should ENGAGE with it.

Up until I was 18 I was disengaged with my body. I got bullying because I was the skinniest and shortest kid for many years (check the second pic to see).

As a defence mechanism I didn't care about my body. Anything connected with exercise, eating healthy, or fitness just reminded me of how weak I felt. So I keep this distance between me and my body just like two people do when they live under the same roof but don't speak. Do you know what I mean?

I've been to the other extreme as well. I trained so hard like a maniac just for the sake of pushing my body to the ground. Just so I could feel strong and fool myself trying to show who the boss were. This was more like an abusive relationship and my body suffered too. Check the third pic and you can see by my face how inflamed I looked.

Today, I'm in a space of engaging with my body. Engaging entails a 2-way relationship. It's clearly not being absent. But it's not imposing what you want either. It's a dynamic of listening to the body, fulfilling what it needs and guiding it where you want respecting its boundaries. It's more like a dance.

It’s what happens when you get curious to learn about and develop your own body. It’s one of the reasons why I created the 10X program with Lorenzo and Vishen.

Imagine you can learn how to make you body stronger and more powerful. You don't need to become a world class athlete or magazine cover bodybuilder. Just engage with your body to develop its own strength.
We built this program so that you can learn the science while you train over 3 months with us and get stronger. Just so you learn how your own body works and learn how to give it what it needs so it can take you where you want to.

And you can choose to go for a more extreme transformation too, if that's your jam like it is to me 🙂

You workout only 30min per week. 10X is super efficient so you'll have less time in the gym and more time enjoying what a stronger and more energetic body can give you.

You can learn the principles of this program for FREE in the 90-min online class we recorded. This is the link: bit.ly/10xmindvalley 🙂
