🌷Community Invitation 🌷
Come and witness a beautiful community ceremony celebrating the end of spring and to celebrate this years youth in Danza Azteca for the 28th Annual Xochipilli and Xochiquetzal ceremony
💕Saturday June 6th 2026 💕

In the morning, there will be a beautitul sunrise ceremony starting at 6 AM. Which is comprised of beautiful rituals such as singing, music playing, and working of flowers and communtiy building. We will also be presenting this years chosen Xochipilli y Xochiquetzal teenage cohort 🫶🏼

This begins at 6 AM and ends at 9 AM ( No Danza / traje or regalia during this part )

From 10am-5pm is when the actual Azteca / Mexica dancing ceremony begins, we will all be dancing in our traditional regalia from 10-5pm.

There will be vendors, community resources, games and activities for the children and more. Bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the sound of the drums, music, and steps 👏🏾
This ceremony is uniquely beautiful. Many danza Azteca ceremonies, do not usually prioritize youth. This ceremony places youth in all roles of the ceremony.
Bring youth and the family.
Offerings in form of flowers, or water, fruit, food or volunteering are greatly appreciated during the ceremony.

IWC had the honor and privilege once again to contribute to the annual DDLM Community Altar with an ofrenda dedicated to the 4 Guardians of the 4 Directions. Tha Altar has been created for all those who have been killed or disappeared by the disgraceful aggression of la migra.

This altar installation is an organizational effort made with love through the visionary leadership of Irma Munoz

Thank you to everyone in the cypress park community who contributes to this amazing dedication year after year.
