A year ago, I took a leap that scared me.

I had the opportunity to write an article for the LA South Connections Newsletter, and it really made me reflect on my own journey.

I shared a bit about how our subconscious mind responds during stressful times, and how some of our reactions are shaped by deeper patterns we may not even be aware of.

Still reflecting on last week’s workshop on resilience and the subconscious mind.

We practiced calming the nervous system and talked about real ways to release emotional burdens including journaling, counseling, and hypnosis.

Hypnosis has been researched through institutions like the National Institutes of Health and is used as a complementary tool in hospitals such as Stanford Health Care.

Beyond the research, what matters most is this.

You do not have to hold everything in.
Silence can be lifted.

The Case of the Eye Twitch

I reconnected with my high school classmate, Amparo, after 14 years. Stress had caused an eye twitch that doctors couldn’t fully resolve. Through hypnosis, she released years of tension, reconnected with her inner child, and found relief. A few months later, the twitch was gone, and she was sleeping peacefully.
