The fact of the matter is we aren’t motivated all of the time to hit the ground running on our goals or projects, but that doesn’t mean we have the option to lie around and wait until we feel ready to do the damn thing.

So when and where is discipline built? It’s built with consistent action, no matter how big or small, in the moments where you dread action the most and really don’t feel like it, but recognize the necessity of acting & making moves anyway.

One thing’s for sure, we don’t get to do what we want without doing the things we need to do. So, this New Moon in Virgo is asking you 𝙒𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙚𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙩𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙤𝙧𝙜𝙖𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙨𝙩𝙧𝙪𝙘𝙩𝙪𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙜, & 𝙨𝙚𝙚𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝??? 🌚 ♍️

After all, what good is setting intentions if you don’t act on them?! You made the plans, now execute! And if you must make one more list, list out all that you need to make your goals a reality and then take one small step towards them. And then do it again tomorrow, and the next day, and…you get my point.

Thank goddess eclipse season is over! Now it’s time to get busy. It’s time to show up and show out like never before, and we all need to be in on it together. Let’s move!

I received my certificate in the wee morning hours as the New Moon in Cancer peaked. New moon blessings abound and can’t get any better than that!

This same morning slid in my email to remind me “we don’t get what we want, we get what we believe.” And in all of my work as an EMDR therapist & now EMDR informed coach, these words ring so true.

HAPPY ANNIVERSARIES TO ME 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

I told myself last year that moving forward I’d be better about celebrating my wins and milestones. So here I am, celebrating 10 years in the counseling field & 7 years in business. I became an LPCA Jan. 15, 2016 and started my private practice Feb. 18, 2018.

I am in such awe and gratitude honestly. I’ve made it 10 years in a career that most only stay in for 5. And what a journey it’s been. The key, I can tell you, is staying grounded, spiritually protected, resourced & continuously engaging in the work of personal growth. 𝑰 𝒂𝒎 𝒔𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒅 𝒐𝒇 𝒎𝒆! This first 7 year cycle of business was all about embracing the learning curve and learning from the inevitable mistakes along the way. Cause ya girl did not attended business school, but we made it baby! This next 7 year cycle will be about all that plus building lasting growth and thriving.

I’ve met some incredible people on this journey. Thank you to everyone that has ever supported me, sent referrals & resources, networked, and shown me love. And thank you to all the clients that have trusted me and allowed me to help them navigate some of their darkest moments and greatest accomplishments in life along the way. I am so truly grateful. After all, the only way we come through the ups and the downs is in community; wading & walking through all the twists and turns of life together.

Cheers to another decade of doing what I love & helping the best ways I know how.
