Coalition Against Drug Abuse of Clay County- CADA CADA is a not for profit corporation in Clay County Illinois. The mission is to educate and inform the citizens about the dangers of substance abuse.

Registration closes Friday! Who is joining us next week?

🚨LAST WEEK TO REGISTER🚨

Register for our 2nd Annual S.U.R.E. Symposium by Friday to lock in your seat and free lunch! You are welcome to register on the day of the event, but there is no guarantee that lunch will be available to you so act now!

Come out and be inspired by the personal stories of our panel of people with lived experience, discover different resources available to help those with substance issues, and learn about what you can do to help others. Free CEUs will be available for nurses, teachers, LCW, LCSW, LPC, and LCPC, along with COPE hours for probation officers. It will be a day full of information, hope, and support. We hope to see you there! 💜

Thanks to our friends at SIU School of Medicine, Birth to Five Illinois, Continuing Education Institute of Illinois, and IPCSA, we are able to offer FREE CEU's for LCSW, LSW, LCPC, LPC, nurses, teachers, and probation officers at our 2nd Annual S.U.R.E. Symposium! Join us as we explore the challenges and successes through substance use and recovery with our esteemed panel of speakers. We will also have the opportunity to hear powerful stories from inspiring people with lived experience and learn about their journey through recovery.

Admission is free and lunch is also provided for the first 200 registrants, so get yours completed today! Snacks and drinks will also be available throughout the day.

Registration is open for our 2nd Annual S.U.R.E. symposium!

📣Registration for our second annual S.U.R.E. (Substance Use Resource & Education Symposium) is now OPEN! 📣

The S.U.R.E. Symposium focuses on resources in the community and supports for those struggling with addiction. We are organizing a great line-up of speakers for you and will have various community resources available for you to learn about between presenters. Additionally, there will be a Hidden in Plain Sight Room which is staged like a teenager's bedroom where signs of substance abuse are hiding in plain sight. CEUs to be offered are pending---stay tuned! Lunch, snacks, and drinks are free for the first 200 registrants, so act fast!

We had another successful prescription drug take back day. Thank you to Chief R***r of the Flora Police Department and Sheriff Myers of the Clay County Sheriffs Office for providing security during the event.

317 pounds of drugs were collected and will be delivered to the DEA for destruction.
