The disability population exists 👉 the fitness infrastructure doesn’t

Most gyms don’t intentionally exclude people with disabilities…but many still create environments that feel inaccessible, uncomfortable, or unsafe

And the fitness industry rarely talks about it

To my neuro PTs, “different” isn’t always best when it comes to treatment strategy. Assess the limitations and address them with the intervention.

Leaving the hospital after a neurological injury can feel overwhelming.

Home health? Outpatient? Inpatient rehab? Skilled nursing?

Many patients and families don’t fully understand what each option actually means—and that lack of clarity can be frustrating.

⬇️ What questions do you still have about discharge or rehab options?

I look forward to discussing pros and cons of each in the future!

Seeing 3 different therapists in the hospital and unsure why?

You’re not alone—this is one of the most confusing parts of early recovery.

Each therapy discipline plays a different role, but they’re also working together to help determine what happens next after discharge.

Based on the assessments they’re making every day, they collaborate with the rest of the medical team to recommend the next step in your recovery or rehab.

You’re allowed to understand your care—and ask questions to your providers.

You or your loved one had a stroke… now you’re headed home.

What now?

Is your home safe?
Do you have everything you need?
Where should you go for therapy?
What is recovery supposed to look like from here?

These are the questions so many families are left with.

And while discharge teams truly do their best, the reality is—
you don’t know what you don’t know… until you’re home.

That’s when it hits.
The uncertainty.
The fear of doing something wrong.
The feeling of having no one to ask.
But you don’t have to figure this out alone.

At Endeavor Neuro Recovery, I help patients and families after stroke navigate that messy in-between— the space between discharge and the next phase of care.

✔️ In-home safety walkthroughs
✔️ Hands-on help with mobility, transfers, and daily routines
✔️ Guidance on what actually matters for recovery
✔️ Real-time problem solving in your own environment

Because continued recovery doesn’t start when outpatient begins— it starts the moment you walk through your front door.

These are some of the things many of my clients are told after a stroke.

But they shouldn’t be normalized.

Recovery doesn’t stop at 6 months—
your brain can continue to rewire with the right input.

Not all therapy is the same.
Intensity, intention, and expertise matter—especially in neurological recovery.

Incontinence may be common…
but it’s not something you have to just accept.

And sleep?
It's essential when it comes to your brain healing.

Beautiful weather this week meant more time outside.

For my clients, the sunshine and fresh air can be incredibly healing.

These are some of my favorite sessions—helping people work toward their goals in the environments that matter most.

Colorado sunshine never disappoints!

Last week, I had a conversation that stuck with me.

I was talking with a patient and their family about the future plan of care. A family member mentioned possibly continuing PT somewhere else due to insurance coverage.

Before I could even respond, the patient jumped in and shared a huge compliment about their experience with Endeavor.

Moments like that mean so much to me as a provider.

It also brings up an important question:

What actually sets Endeavor apart from other PT clinics?

Neurological recovery requires neurological expertise.

Every physical therapist is introduced to neurological rehab in school…
but not every therapist continues to study and specialize in it long-term.

And that matters.

Conditions like stroke, Parkinson’s, MS, amputation, and brain injuries are complex. Recovery isn’t just about getting stronger — it’s about helping the brain relearn movement and adapt to new demands.

It’s about understanding what truly supports healing for the nervous system — both in the short and long term.

That’s why working with someone who specializes in neurological rehab can make such a big difference in progress, confidence, and long-term outcomes.

It’s also a big reason I started Endeavor Neuro Recovery — to create a space where people get the time, attention, and specialized care they deserve.

If you ever have questions about your or a loved one’s recovery after stroke, Parkinson’s diagnosis, or another neurological condition, feel free to reach out.

Hello Northern Colorado!

My name is Taelor Bradt, I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy and the owner of Endeavor Neuro Recovery here in Loveland.
I started Endeavor to help bridge some of the gaps I see in neurological recovery. I believe people deserve more time, more attention, and more personalized care than the traditional healthcare model often allows.

Endeavor is a mobile neurological physical therapy practice, which means I come directly to you. Whether you’ve just returned home from the hospital, have been living with a diagnosis for years, or are looking to get back into a routine that keeps you moving, Endeavor is here to support you.

If you or someone you love is navigating stroke recovery, Parkinson’s disease, amputation, or another neurological condition, I’d love to be a resource.
