🚨TW: upsetting story, but important to share🚨

At the end of this past week while doing errands around town, we encountered a distraught employee at one of our stops. Their home had been forcibly entered the day prior, and on top of that, the intruder created a mess of the biohazard variety in the home. What an absolute violation of one’s space, on so many fronts.

This client had cleaned up the majority of the mess but was in total discomfort at the thought that they, their family and pets could be exposed to residual germs in their home. They asked if we may be able to help, so today Nate went over and did a proper cleaning and disinfection of the entire area the intruder traveled in the home. Walls, doors, floors, every surface possible was addressed.

Our homes are supposed to be our reprieve and safety from the rest of the world, and having ones space violated in this way brings on a vulnerability that nobody should have to bear.

That said, we were honored for the opportunity to remove any traces of the past events for this client, with the hope that they can move forward finding physical and mental comfort in their home again. We are grateful for our community support, and happy for opportunities to help others too. ♥️

❓Did you know? 🤔

🐝 Beeswax is a wonderful natural conditioner for soapstone, which needs to be periodically treated in order to maintain its deep sheen and smooth finish. It also acts as a water repellent, protecting the stone from staining and discoloration.

🚰 We thought these bathroom counters were in need of some love, and we recently developed our own beeswax salve to treat them. Results are great so far! And thank you to our lovely clients for trusting us to bring these back to life.

The stars aligned in our schedule recently and we were able to help an awesome client on short notice who just moved into their new apartment. Problem was, the apartment contained the remains of the last tenants grime and buildup. In one day and with a lot of elbow grease we got this place shining so our client could make this home their own 🏠

This kind of job is not something we do often as it doesn’t fit into our schedule, but we love them! And why, you might wonder? 🤔

Our homes are supposed to be our sacred space from the rest of the world, our retreat from the craziness of everyday life. When your space isn’t right, your mind won’t be either. So being able to help create that space so clients can go on to live their best, most peaceful lives is something we love to do! It adds purpose to our work so we all win. 🏆
