The Lynn Calm Team will be unavailable on Monday, October 12, in observance of Indigenous Peoples’ Day.

We encourage everyone to take this opportunity for learning, reflection, and recognition of the histories, cultures, resilience, and contributions of Indigenous communities, past and present.

We will resume regular services on Tuesday, October 13.

Keeping Lynn clean is a collective effort.

The Lynn Calm Team was proud to collaborate with the Lynn Shelter Association to organize a cleanup campaign in the downtown area. We rolled up our sleeves, connected with residents experiencing housing insecurity, and worked together to help keep our community clean and welcoming.

Thank you to everyone who came out and helped with this effort. A special thank you to Robert Wallace for coordinating the effort and bringing everyone together.
We look forward to continuing this work and building on this effort. Together, we can make a difference in our community!

✨The Lynn Calm Team was proud to collaborate with the Lynn Shelter Association on a cleanup campaign at Central Square. More than 20 volunteers experiencing housing insecurity came together to help clean up Central Square. ✨El Calm Team de Lynn se enorgullece de colaborar con la Asociación de Refugio de Lynn (LSA, por sus siglas en inglés) en una campaña de limpieza en la Plaza Central. Más de 20 voluntarios que enfrentan situaciones de inseguridad de vivienda se reunieron para ayudar a limpiar en la Plaza Central. The Lynn CALM Team had a great time at the Lynnside Out Festival!

We enjoyed connecting with residents, sharing more about what we do, and hearing from members of our community. Seeing the community’s engagement and support was both empowering and energizing, and it motivates us to keep showing up for Lynn residents.

A huge thank you to the City of Lynn Mayor’s Office for organizing such a fun and engaging event, and to everyone who stopped by our table. We appreciate your support and look forward to continuing to connect with the Lynn community!

As we enter the back-to-school season, we understand the importance of supporting families through this transition.

We were honored to attend Connery Elementary School’s Back-to-School Celebration, where we had the opportunity to meet with parents and share how Calm can support residents by connecting them with community resources, helping address nonviolent conflicts, supporting residents experiencing hardship, and more.

Since the Lynn Shelter Association opened its new courtyard to provide a safe and welcoming space for individuals experiencing housing insecurity, the Lynn Calm Team has had the opportunity to connect with unhoused residents and provide a care-oriented response. 🧡
Through wellness checks and medical support from our per diem nurse, we meet people where they are, build relationships and trust, and center the voices and experiences of unhoused residents to help create lasting impact.

Desde que la Asociación de Refugios de Lynn (Lynn Shelter Association) inauguró su nuevo patio para ofrecer un espacio seguro y acogedor a las personas en situaciones de inseguridad residencial, el Calm Team de Lynn ha tenido la oportunidad de establecer contacto con los residentes sin hogar y ofrecerles una respuesta centrada en la atención. 🧡
A través de revisiones de bienestar y la asistencia médica que nos brinda nuestra enfermera a tiempo parcial, nos acercamos a las personas tal como son, establecemos relaciones y generamos confianza, y damos espacio a las voces y experiencias de las personas sin hogar para contribuir a generar un impacto perdurable.
