You don't need to replace every product in your house this weekend.

A healthier-home project gets overwhelming fast when the list includes cleaning products, candles, food containers, laundry, and everything else you use every day.

Start with what you use most often. Change one category at a time.

The free 4-Week Home Detox breaks the process into four practical weeks so it feels doable, not like another full-time job.

She already had the kind of weekly structure business coaches recommend.

Monday for CEO strategy. Wednesday for backend work. Friday for content.

The systems were sound.

She just didn't always have the energy to follow-through on them.

Just a couple months into working with me, she noticed her baseline was changing.

She reported noticeably higher energy, more productive workdays, and an easier time keeping the supportive routines she used to put on the backburner.

The first win was clarity. Instead of treating digestion, food responses, mineral status, sleep, and hormones as separate problems, we looked at the pattern and chose a sequence.

This is an interim progress story, shared anonymously with her approval.

The point is NOT that she needed a better planner. It's that the planner became easier to use when more of her was available to use it.

I joined Erica Anderson Rooney on Glass Ceilings & Sticky Floors to talk about hormones, fatigue, and why you can still feel exhausted when your labs look fine.

I also shared what a 90-hour workweek and a public breakdown taught me about listening sooner, and why health is part of the capacity we bring to our work and the people we love.

Thanks for having me, Erica. If you’d like to listen, the full episode is linked in the first comment.

If the test results had been different, would the recommendation have changed?

That’s one of the questions I want people to ask before paying for a large assessment.

Supplements can be useful when the information points to a specific need. But a monthly bundle isn’t automatically personalized just because testing happened first.

The data should help determine the plan. The plan shouldn’t be waiting for the data to justify it.

What would you want your practitioner to explain before you started testing?

10/15/2026

“Everything is normal” and “something has changed” can both be true.

Most routine bloodwork is built to identify a current problem. It is not always built to show you the direction your own markers have moved over time.

That is where a personal baseline becomes useful.

A value can stay inside a broad reference range while moving a long way from the place where you felt clear, steady, and well.

You cannot build that old baseline retroactively. But you can start building one now.

Is there anything you wish you had measured when you felt better?

One terrible night did not take her out.

A severe storm kept a client awake for most of the night before a meeting. She expected to be destroyed the next day.

Instead, she showed up and handled what she needed to do.

That may sound like a small win. It was not.

Earlier, one bad night could consume the next day. Over time, after a broad plan that included food, hydration, exercise timing, targeted support, and coordination with medical hormone care and shoulder treatment, her baseline became more resilient.

No one change gets all the credit.

The progress was that tired no longer automatically meant depleted.

If your brain is already full, more information may not be the answer.

Sometimes the useful thing is a few minutes with less.

The Positive Reset Meditation is a short guided pause you can use after a hard call, between meetings, or before you walk back into the rest of your life.

It is not another routine to perfect.

It is simply a place to stop carrying the last hour into the next one.

A travel week used to cost a day. Now it can take the rest of the week to feel like yourself again.

The flights have not changed. The conference still lasts three days. But the recovery bill is different.

That shift is easy to call “getting older” or “a stressful season.” It can also be one of the earlier ways perimenopause shows up.

That does not mean travel is off the table. It means the answer may not be pushing harder when you get home.

Have you noticed your recovery time changing?

I’m grateful for the kind words Jillian McCloskey of Momcations shared after my workshop:

“Jessica’s workshop made me look at the connection between my health and my business in a completely different way.”

She also shared that the 60% versus 100% report-card analogy stuck with her, and that putting a dollar value on time lost to fatigue and lack of focus was an eye-opener.

Thank you, Jillian, for this thoughtful feedback and for naming how practical changes can help us show up better for ourselves and our businesses.

If fatigue or brain fog is getting in the way of your work, learn about the Founder Capacity Audit. Details in the first comment.

If the 3 p.m. coffee feels less optional than it used to, notice what job it is doing.

Maybe lunch was not enough. Maybe water has been sitting untouched beside you. Maybe the entire day has been output with nothing coming back in.

Caffeine is not automatically the problem. The pattern is still useful information.

I made the free Adrenal Mocktail Guide for a simple, non-caffeinated option when the afternoon still has a lot left in it.
