So excited today. I received a letter from Congressman Jeb Hensarling. Thank God for all our good work to get Lymphedema Treatment Act and Awareness out to all the public and patients. 🤩 Kimberly Ann Melton

Life with Lympedema

One day I am strong
The next I am not
Some days the well of negative emotions takes over
But inbetween is a ray of light

It is a journey of trials & tribulations
But it is mine to own
It is mine to embrace
It is mine to treasure
I am proud of me
I have to learn to not be hard on myself
It is a journey a few can understand

There is hapiness then there is sadness and there is hapiness again
Depression creeps in many atimes
Depression has become so familiar
Yet I often forget to give myself credit for ovecoming
It
We are overcomers
We are the world's warriors

Seek counseling
When you need it
90% of this pain for me has been emotional
The emotional pain is enormous
It needs not to be ignored

With fear , tears and a sprinkle of courage
I walk this journey
This journey is mine to own
I know I am not alone
We are in this together
