Hey squad.....today is a very special day. Today my oldest sissy Arabella Collison who is my ride or die best friend turns 19😍. Every day sissy takes time to snuggle me, play with me, give me lots of lovies and she believed in me and my success before I even entered this world. Sissy encouraged Mom that she could give me the best life with our family and she has been one of my biggest cheerleaders through all the downfalls and especially during every milestone I've achieved.
Thank you for being there for me at all hours of the day and night. Thank you for watching peppa pig on repeat hour after hour, day after day. Thank you for holding my hands and me when I needed comfort on all the hard days. Thank you for making sure I am up and ready to go to school everyday to play with my friends. Thank you for researching and helping Mom get resources I need. Thank you for keeping my room organized and taking me to the doctors and the park to play. Thank you for being your brothers keeper and one day when Im bigger and walking and talking just know you will always have me as a friend, as a confidant and hopefully I can watch over you too.
Im going to take sissy out to dinner tonight and afterwards we will come home and celebrate her with a fresh carrot cake and some presents. She also will be taking me to my very first ever trunk or treat tomorrow at the Kinera Foundation. I know I don't have the words to tell her how much I love and adore her but I will be sure to give her extra hugs and smoochies to show her all day. Hey squad we had an adventure today! We started the morning dropping off Hadley Nash to school, then we stopped by the Bay Country Bakery and grabbed breakfast. Mom drove the mini rocket ship to meet my friends at JZ Farms for our field trip to the pumpkin patch. After the patch Mom and sissy Arabella Collison took me to the park to play. After the park we made a pit stop at MomMom and PopPops to drop off an anniversary gift for their 58th Anniversary and now I am home and settling in for the evening. It was so much fun I am very glad Mom was able to spend the day with me. I hope everyone had a great Thursday- Love, Thoren

Hey besties me again. I have a favor to ask, not for me but for Mom. I hope you all watched the slideshow she made of the letter she wrote to her future self. She said the things she would miss most about life is US....her family, her people. She has another project for the same class and this one has to be over the top. My mom has chosen the topic of "A World without Down Syndrome". She plans on presenting it in a way that she hopes moves people to understand that a diagnosis does not define who someone is as a human. She would love it if you all would share your experiences. I know you have stood by my side in support since I was born and I am so proud to have you as my squad. So if you could share how Ive inspired you, changed your mind, taught you things you didn't know about Down Syndrome she would love to have a community impact as part of her project. I would greatly appreciate if you would help in this project. We need to make the world see that just because someone has a diagnosis we can be far more than the labels we are given. Good morning squad. I am very busy making boo bags for my besties. Sissy is helping because Mommy is under the weather. I am so excited I have a field trip this week and I want to make sure my friends each get a sweet treat from me.
P.S. I just showed Mom my Halloween costume and this is officially the first time I will ever go trick or treating. It sounds like a blast!

Guess who has found an appetite? Hey sqaud I demanded snacks and my big boy chair be moved last night to watch Hocus Pocus. Today Mom got a call from school and they told her I ate a whole lunch of chicken nuggets😍 I think Im finally getting the hang of eating with my teeth. Hey squad woke up with a smile on my face ready to go hang out with all my friends today at school. I told Mom I wanted to try some snacks at school so she went after work and grabbed me some easy to chew options to send in my backpack tomorrow. I sure do love all my besties and I am back with my favorite girl Mrs. Bobbi Purnell who takes excellent care of me during the day. Hey squad.......thank you all so much for the birthday wishes. Arabella Collison made me some dino cupcakes to celebrate with and some of my favorite fries. I got a brief check up today and guess what? I gained 2 lbs and have grown 7 inches taller since July 21st. Mom has made sure Im on a strict grow and gain regimen. I got some new light up bath toys, a batman squishy and some dino poppers to play with. I've been very active today and Mom said I should sleep well tonight. Love y'all so much! Thoren

Hey friends.....I had the girls (Hadley and Arabella Collison ) take me to therapy yesterday. My new best friend at Kinera had me busy playing with toys, shaving cream and glitter and she gave me time on the vibration board. I was a trooper according to the report Mom got from Arabella and I am sleeping like a baby right now before I get the day started. I think sissy might take me on a shopping trip today to get some stuff for the weekend and we will practice all the therapy skills she's been shown so I keep making progress. Mom said she might make me some deep fried oreos or funnel cake to try this weekend in honor of it being Delaware state fair week. She said Im still too little to go around all those people but I can have some yummy treats at home.I hope everyone is as excited about it being Friday as I am Love- Thoren
