The weekend before Thanksgiving can be chaotic, hectic, overwhelming, and difficult for many reasons. Maybe you have family coming into town, working hard on finalizing your grocery list, or this may be the first holiday without a loved one.

I encourage you to ask yourself the question below sometime today - how can you show up for yourself? What are some of the intentional self-care activities you plan to engage in?

Hi everyone! I've finally decided to create a page specifically for my private practice. I wanted to introduce myself, my practice, and the services I offer.

My name is Tia Wheatley and I am a LICSW in both AL and WA state. I currently offer individual virtual and in-person appointments for mental health therapy. For clients located in AL, I accept: BCBS, Cigna, and self-pay. For clients located in WA, at this time, I only accept self-pay; however, I do have a sliding scale that can offer equitable prices because I believe everyone should have access to therapy!

While I have a vast array of experiences working with different populations, I am most passionate about working with individuals 18+, older adults, and individuals navigating motherhood. I have experience in the following areas:

- anxiety (including phobias)
- depression
- mood disorders
- bipolar disorder
- ADHD
- certified in grief and loss
- life transitions
- certified in integrative mental health
