Many of us are really good at knowing what we should do.

We know how to be responsible, meet expectations, solve problems, and take care of the people around us. But over time, those voices can get so loud that we lose touch with our own.

When faced with a decision, we ask: What’s practical? What’s expected? What’s the right thing to do?

But how often do we ask: What do I actually want?

Knowing what you want is a skill. It takes slowing down and creating enough space to hear your own voice beneath the noise.

Sometimes the most important question isn’t “What should I do next?” It’s “What do I actually want?”

Why Training Matters in Breathwork

Not all breathwork training is the same. One of the questions I often get is, “How did you become a breathwork facilitator?”

I completed a nine-month professional certification through the One Breath Institute, recognized by the Global Professional Breathwork Alliance.

Why does that matter? Because breathwork is more than guiding breathing exercises. It requires an understanding of physiology, nervous system responses, emotional processing, trauma-informed practice, safety, and integration.

My goal is to create a safe, grounded space where people can reconnect with themselves and their own capacity for restoration and growth.

Training matters; safety matters; and how we hold the experience matters, too.
