Arielle Shimko Yoga/Meditation/Jewish Spirituality Hello yogis! I'd like to share my love of yoga with the world and I have created this page to share daily insights.

Arielle grew up on the Upper West Side and attended the Ramaz Upper School. She then went on to study Hebrew at Tel Aviv University and Middle Eastern studies at Hebrew University. Upon returning to the U.S., Arielle studied Hebrew Language & Literature & Art History at Queens College. Post college, Arielle has studied at both Pardes and Hadar. For the last three years, Arielle has been living in

Miami Beach and has served as the Rabbinic Intern at Temple Emanu-El alongside the talented Rabbi Marc Philippe. She recently moved back to New York and is excited to be back in town! Arielle is a Jewish spirituality/yoga teacher and seeker who creates alternative educational modalities that incorporate mindfulness, yoga and meditation. She also hosts a monthly independent Carlebach-style minyan on the Upper West Side in a heimish environment. Arielle is a great supporter of Jewish communal causes and is always excited to meet like-minded and not so like-minded people!
