🇫🇷People think that psychic mediums like me are somehow spared from the heartbreak of loss, as if speaking to the Spirit world immunizes us from grief—but it doesn’t, not when it’s sudden, not when it’s someone like Frédéric “Fred” Panaïotis, who wasn’t just Ruinart’s Chef de Cave, but flame and finesse, mischief and mind, a polyglot of soul and soil, a man who moved through life with irreverent brilliance, and who sat at my table just months ago. Then came Monday, June 16th, and the silence of knowing he had crossed over hit like a rupture in the atmosphere, a staggering loss for Ch*****ne, for the world, for those of us who knew him not as a myth but as a legend.
Death doesn’t sever the bond of love, because the energy of love—true love—is eternal and is not governed by time or space, and grief, grief is what happens when that love has no place to land, when your soul still reaches for someone who is no longer physically here, and that ache, that stretch across realms, is love in its rawest form, and so I offer this humble video tribute not as closure, because there is none, but as a sacred acknowledgment of all he was, of what he leaves behind, and of how deeply he’ll be missed—if you knew him, I invite you to share a memory in the comments.
🕊 Fred, you were singular. Unrepeatable. And now, eternal. 🕊
🕊 Fred, fuiste singular. Irrepetible. Y ahora, eterno. 🕊
