Today I had the opportunity to join KRFE Radio in Lubbock, a station whose history includes the legendary Buddy Holly.

As I reflected on the conversation afterward, I realized that much of my work begins with a simple question:

Why?

Why do some disruptions shake us so deeply?

Why do capable people become exhausted?

Why do we feel stuck even when we're successful?

Why do seasons of uncertainty often become seasons of growth?

The older I get, the more I realize that transformation often begins with curiosity before it begins with answers.

One of my favorite questions is:

Have you ever outgrown something before you understood what you were growing into?

Grateful for the opportunity, the conversation, and the reminder that what feels like the middle of your story may actually be the beginning of alignment.

For many years, I saw titles, responsibilities, expectations, and all the roles I carried.

But growth has taught me that identity is bigger than any single role.

What an amazing day at the East Lubbock Block Party! 💙

Being in the heart of the community and connecting with so many incredible people was such a blessing. I had meaningful conversations with women about mental wellness, navigating life's transitions, and the importance of creating spaces where we can be honest about what we're carrying.

A special thank you to the Community Coalitions Partnerships Coordinator and Lubbock Public Health for organizing an event that brings resources, connection, and support directly into the community.

One of my favorite parts of the day was helping women reflect on where they are in their current season of life.

POV: You only see the workshop… not everything it takes to prepare for it.

The prayers.
The planning.
The late nights.
The rewriting.
The emotional labor.
The obedience.
The moments of doubt.
The moments of alignment.

What people experience in the room is only a snapshot of what was built behind the scenes with intention, truth, and care.

This work is more than an event for me.
