Saturday is National Prescription Drug Take Back Day, and your pharmacy team has a role to play. 💊

is a free event for communities nationwide to dispose of old and unneeded medications safely and anonymously.

Since 2010, Take Back Day has removed more than 21 million pounds of unneeded medications from American homes. Independent pharmacy teams are a big part of why that number keeps growing.

More than 4,400 collection sites will be active across the country on October 24 from 10am–2pm. Let your patients know by mentioning it at pickup, putting a sign on the counter, or posting on your pharmacy’s social pages.

NCPA Annual Convention 2026 is a wrap! Wow, what a few days. Independent pharmacy owners from across the country, all under one roof, all fighting for the same thing. That energy never gets old.

Empowerment in pharmacy means practicing at the top of your clinical training, having tools that actually work for you, and creating a policy environment that lets you stay open to help the communities that need you.

The RxPost team will be at the National Community Pharmacists Association Annual Convention from October 3–6, and this one is always one of the highlights of our year.

NCPA is the can't-miss event for independent pharmacy. It’s where owners, pharmacists, and pharmacy teams come together to learn, connect, and walk away with strategies they can actually use.
