hosted their health fair on Wednesday and once again we had an incredible time! The students were ever so grateful for the education and resources they received. Tiffany's Coaching & Professional Services offered another option to help young adults navigate the complex space between adolescence and early adulthood while still maintaining a sense of self. Between the strong athletes, the vibrant minds, and fraternity members, we talked about deep topics that could serve as potential barriers. The time here was very productive! I even had the wonderful opportunity sign with a Deaf student and discussed goals she has for aiding fellow classmates in learning ASL. This school is very rich in culture and welcomes all! This was a joyous time and I look forward to the next one!

It was great seeing many children and their guardians/parents at the back to school and resource bash put on by Community Healthcore today. It's our hope that the children are ready to go back to school and the parents feel a little relief and supported.

Just TWO DAYS AWAY!!! Please don't forget to come out to the Longview Mall on Saturday for the Back to School Door hosted by Community Healthcore to get school supplies and resources for your children. Amongst other fantastic resources, Tiffany's Coaching & Professional Services will be there to offer Generative and Transformative Coaching suggestions for Adolescents struggling with identity and purpose. We look forward to seeing you there for an awesome time!

Shout out to the Junior League of Longview for putting on the Rise Conference today. The conference was designed not only to bring awareness of the widespread impact of burnout on mental health professionals, educators, and government workers but also to offer some tools and techniques for them to take back home to aid in their own restoration. I had the privilege of delivering the interactive speech "Reviving the Caregiver in YOU." This audience of Educators, Leaders, Social Workers and LPC's were deeply engaged and participated in their renewal process while offering meaningful contributions from the treasures of their expertise. We had a ball!! Thank you all for being in attendance today and I hope you were able to carry home at least one thing that is useful for you to start using tomorrow.

2. What courageous conversation are you avoiding that would restore your energy?

For each question, ponder: What/who is getting in the way of my reaching this goal for myself and what supports do I need?

We had a wonderful time in Marshall at the Back to School Bash this weekend. Parents were super appreciative and the volunteers eagerly played their parts in assuring our children got hair cuts and plenty of supplies to be ready for school. Shout out to the members/staff at the Marshall Elks Lodge for putting this successful event together again for the community this year! We eagerly anticipate next year's event.

This is a quite an informative yet true read! There are many layers to a person's story and that person may not always be the narrator. Some are living life under the disguise of their parents, partners and children. Although they exist in body, the life they live isn't theirs. Examining the stories we carry about ourselves merits careful self-reflection and prompts us to challenge the agency we truly have over our lives and decisions.

The stories we tell ourselves shape our identity and choices. Revisiting old narratives can unlock growth, clarity, and self-understanding.

We had a wonderful time today with Prairie View A&M and a host of other vendors at the Pathways to Purpose Event today. We enjoyed talking with the youth and their parents who came through to capitalize on resources. Some even won prizes along the way! Thank you Prairie View A&M for the invite and we look forward to much more networking on behalf of our youth in East Texas.

Happy Friday Coaching Community! It's a beautiful day to be alive! Just as a reminder, Prairie View A&M is putting on an event tomorrow (May 2nd) to support Adolescents in East Texas. This event offers resources that will provide adolescents with productive things to do over the summer to occupy themselves! Many organizations will be in attendance so please come out and bring your teenagers. If you are deaf and hard of hearing or have children and teens who are deaf, please come out as well. Look for my booth! We hope to see you there!

Mark your calendars for May 2, 2026, @ 10a-2p for an event that's geared towards showing care, support, guidance and dedication to our adolescents. Adolescence is a pivotal developmental period where our youth and their parents find it incredibly difficult to navigate. The rapid fluctuation of influence, preferences and sense of belonging, and group theory about who to be, can be a lot to handle and process. If you are a parent and/or in a professional field that brings you in constant contact with our youth, please share this and try to attend. If you are a youth/adolescent and you feel you have lost your way or just seeking something better and different for your life, please stop in and bring your parents and friends. There will be many vendors and booths there! Please stop by my booth and let's have a conversation about your life and journey or anything else that concerns you! I'll see you in a few weeks.
