Cheryl Taft Benefit Help with medical expenses for Cheryl (Savage) Taft. Cheryl was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer this spring. Surgery will be scheduled sometime in June.

This diagnosis followed shoulder surgery in November and knee surgery in January. She started Chemotherapy in April (just before Easter). In the mean time, bills are mounting and the family needs some help. Her children - AJ Conaway, Dee Taft, Keri Taft, Kenny Taft and Michele Beeler - are organizing a benefit to help raise funds July 9th at the Marshalltown Senior Citizen Center.

Looking for craft show venders for a show at Beaman memorial hall. On November 5th from 9am to 6pm and 6th from 9am to 5pm. Table fees are $35 for a 8ft by 10 ft space. If need to rent a 8ft table will be a extra $10. If interested call AJ Conaway at 641-750-4577. ALL TABLE FEE AND RENTAL FEE GO TO CHERYL TAFTS CANCER MEDICAL BILLS.

I am really happy to announce that Cheryl Taft had her P.E.T. scan yesterday and she is cancer free. I can't beleave how happy I am for her and everyone that knows her. This doesn't mean her fight is over she still has a year of chemo once a week. Then radiation.

So mom had her drains pulled out today from the mastectomy. Doctors say she is doing well just needs time to heal now. She will find out what will happen next not this Thursday but next. (What kind of chemo and if she will be doing radation.)

I wanted to thank everyone who came to the benefit yesterday, every little bit helps and she and her family appreciates everything. We had alot of fun.
