Happy Wednesday!!

You will be seeing a new face at Martin Wellness Center and I want to take a quick moment to introduce Carmela Wesner as one of our new fitness technicians!

Carmela has been a resident of Martin, Tennessee, for more than 23 years and has been married to her husband, Kurt, for 26 years. Together they have two children, Alhexander and Bella.

Outside of work, Carmela enjoys supporting her children’s many activities and interests. Her daughter, Bella, is actively involved in competitive dance, theater productions with Theater Off Broadway, and the Obion County Fair Show Choir. Her son, Alhexander, is a senior at Westview High School and participates in the Obion County Youth Bowling League.

Carmela values family, community involvement, and staying engaged in the activities that help people grow and succeed.

Take on the June step 👟 challenge, join one of our group exercise classes 💪🏻, come use our walking track 🚶🏻‍♀️🏃🏼‍♂️‍➡️or weight lifting equipment🏋🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♂️, or make plans to join us on June 10th for another fun time with pickleball🥒🏓!

Wellness Warriors is moving from 4:00pm to 8:00am for the summer!!!
🏋🏼🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️Wellness Warriors🏋🏼🏃🏻‍♀️🏋🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♂️ is total body strength training combined with cardio. Torch calories, build muscle, and boost endurance.

Just a reminder we are learning the basics of pickleball and having a lot of fun with friends this afternoon from 2:00-4:00!!

If you are planning to use the walking track during that time, you will have to turn just pass the hip machine and dumbbell rack, which are located before all the cardio equipment, to get your walking in. You will not be able to walk the full laps during the scheduled pickleball time.

We apologize for any inconvenience but are so excited to offer this to our members!

Our group came together today to take on the Murph Challenge — not as a competition, but as an act of remembrance for the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
We didn’t do the Murph to prove something, it wasn’t for us! We did it to remember and honor someone. EVERY rep was for them!
🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day. Never forget.
