Passing along our donation to Restore Décor.
Restor Décor was started in 2013 as the fundraising arm of Faith Coalition-Edwardsville. Restore Decor became its own 501(c)3 nonprofit & expanded its scope to raise money to help families in need & other nonprofits directly serving those in need in our community. Every week, volunteers spend countless hours accepting donations, moving furniture, repairing and painting furniture, shopping for the perfect accessories, staging our shops, and serving customers on Saturdays.

After seeing people rest this way in places like Japan and China, travellers are trying to do it, and realising they can’t.⁣
⁣
Matt Hsuan, a corrective exercise specialist, says modern life is partly to blame.⁣
⁣
Before chairs and Western toilets, everyone had to squat. But now this type of movement is difficult for many of us.⁣
⁣
As we age, being able to get down to the floor and back up again, is a key indicator of good health and longevity.⁣

Fifteen years ago today, we had to say goodbye to Kellsie, but her love, compassion and giving spirit are still changing so many lives.

Kellsie was just 15 years old when her cancer journey began. Through her own experiences, she developed a passion for helping other children battling cancer and dreamed of becoming a Pediatric Oncology Nurse. What started because of one amazing young girl has grown into something we never could have imagined.

Because of Kellsie, Kellsie's Hope has granted 170 Wishes, funded over $1.4 Million in Pediatric Cancer Research, and awarded 80 Nursing Scholarships. While those accomplishments are incredible, Kellsie's true legacy isn't found in the numbers, it's found in the smiles of children whose wishes came true, the HOPE give to families during difficult times, and the lives touched though acts of kindness and compassion.

Fifteen years later, we still miss her every day, but we are so grateful that her light continues to shine through Kellsie's Hope Foundation! 🩷🎗💛

Known as the balance point of all seven Chakras, the heart or the fourth Chakra is located at the center of the breastbone. Anahata in Sanskrit (translation unstuck) is represented by the color green and distributes energy throughout the body. It is deeply integrated into the smooth operation of your other chakras. This means your daily habits, emotional tendencies, innermost desires, and subconscious actions all arise from and flow through this chakra.
