💜 RECOVERY MONTH SPOTLIGHT 💜

In honor of National Recovery Month, the Edgar County ROSC Council is proud to celebrate local People with Lived Experience (PLE) and the incredible strength, hope, and courage found in recovery.

Throughout September, we asked individuals in recovery to share their recovery date and 3–5 things they are grateful for today. Each story is a reminder that recovery is possible, hope is real, and every recovery journey deserves to be celebrated.

Join us as we recognize these amazing individuals, celebrate their recovery, and work together to break the stigma surrounding substance use disorder and mental health challenges.

Every story matters. Every recovery matters. Every person matters. 💜

🚨 BREAKING NEWS!!! 🚨

Tomorrow, Paris District 95 Schools and Crestwood District 4 Schools will be WEARING PURPLE in support of National Recovery Month! 💜

We are beyond grateful and so incredibly proud of our community for coming together to recognize and celebrate individuals in recovery. Every purple shirt helps spread a powerful message: recovery is possible, recovery deserves to be celebrated, and no one should have to walk their recovery journey alone.

A HUGE thank you to our local schools, students, staff, and families for supporting recovery and helping us break the stigma surrounding substance use and mental health challenges.

💜 Tomorrow, WE will turn our schools PURPLE for recovery! 💜

We had an amazing turnout at our 3rd Annual Candlelight Vigil! Our hearts are full of gratitude for everyone who came together to remember those we have lost, support those who are still struggling, and stand together to bring hope and break the stigma surrounding substance use.

A huge thank you to New Beginnings Church for always providing such a beautiful and welcoming space for this special event. Thank you to all of our speakers for sharing your voices, stories, and hearts with us.

And a special thank you to the Keys Family for providing the delicious desserts for everyone to enjoy!

Most importantly, thank you to every person who attended. Your presence matters. Together, we remember. Together, we bring hope. Together, we can make a difference.
