WE SOLD OUT FAST THIS WEEKEND!

And while that is a pretty great problem for a little one-woman bakery to have, I also know it can be disappointing when you stop by and the thing you were hoping for is already gone.

I’m working on a better pre-order system so you can reserve your favorites ahead of time, while still keeping plenty available for those of you who just like to stop by and see what’s here.

A quick update for the next couple of weeks:

NEXT WEEKEND The Porch Stand will still be OPEN, but there will be no fresh bakes. You’ll find a selection of frozen bakery items in the freezer along with skincare, soaps and bath & body products.

THE FOLLOWING WEEKEND I’ll be back to fresh baking and we’ll be getting right back into all the sourdough goodness, including more fall flavors!

I absolutely love baking for this community, and every week you continue to amaze me with how much you support this little bakery.

Thank you for showing up. Thank you for telling your friends. Thank you for coming back week after week. It truly means so much to me.

And yes, I’m taking notes. I know I need to make MORE! 😂

PORCH STAND UPDATE!

You guys continue to blow me away with how much you show up and support The Porch Stand every week. We sold out SO FAST yesterday of most of the fresh bakes. Thank you, thank you!

There are still a few goodies left this morning:

• A couple sourdough loaves
• Granola
• Croutons
• Large Soft Pretzels
• Pretzel Bites

And don’t forget to check the freezer! There are a few different flavored sourdough loaves, frozen cookies, and I believe even some biscuits tucked in there.

While you’re here, check out the skincare and bath & body products too!

NEXT WEEK: The Porch Stand WILL be open, but there will be no fresh bakes. You’ll still be able to shop skincare and bath & body products, along with whatever frozen bakery items are available.

Then I’ll be back to fresh sourdough baking the FOLLOWING WEEKEND!

THE PORCH STAND IS OPEN and the shelves are FULL!

Everything is stocked and ready for you, but things are already starting to go. If you want the best selection, I’d stop in earlier today!

We’ve got your Porch Stand favorites plus some really tasty fall flavors this week. My favorites might be the Apple Butter Sourdough and Apple Butter Granola, although that Garlic Asiago loaf is giving them some serious competition!

This is also a good weekend to STOCK UP. Next weekend The Porch Stand will be open, but there will be no fresh bakes. We’ll have a selection of frozen bakery items available, along with our bath & body products. There are also some frozen items available this weekend if you want to grab extras.

DID YOU SURVIVE THE STORMS? Maybe a fresh sourdough loaf will make you feel better. 😂

What a crazy 24 hours! Hopefully everyone made it through safely and stayed dry.

Over here, everything is coming together for The Porch Stand this weekend, and there are some REALLY good things happening.

The Apple Cinnamon Sourdough smells incredible, and I cannot wait for you to try it!

And apparently we couldn’t stand waiting until the weekend for the Garlic Asiago, so I made one up in advance for us. Sometimes you just can’t take the suspense! It is SO tasty and definitely a little different from my usual cheddar or Parmesan loaves. I really, really like this one.

The SOURDOUGH CRACKERS are back too! Dare I say they came out pretty much perfect for those of you who love a really thin, crunchy cracker. I’m trying a small AND a new larger bag this weekend. If you’re going to buy two bags anyway, maybe you just need a bigger bag! Let me know what you think.

Pre-orders close TONIGHT, and quite a few orders have already come in this week!

The Porch Stand is a one-person microbakery, which means there’s only so much I can make each week. Pre-orders are filled first, and once I reach my baking limit, that’s it for the week. There may be limited extras at the stand, or possibly none of certain items, depending on pre-orders.

And the SOURDOUGH CRACKERS ARE BACK! I know many of you are excited about that! We’re also starting to bring those fall flavors back, with Apple Cinnamon Sourdough joining the menu this week.

Thank you so much for understanding and giving us a weekend to enjoy some family time.

THE PORCH STAND IS CLOSED TODAY, but here’s a little sourdough inspiration while you wait for next weekend!

What can you do with ONE loaf of sourdough?

• Breakfast sandwiches
• Grilled cheese
• Pizza toast
• French toast
• Garlic bread
• School lunch sandwiches
• Croutons with those last few slices

And if you won’t use it all, freeze half. Sourdough freezes beautifully!

With school starting back up, what’s your favorite way to use a loaf of sourdough? Share your ideas. I’m always looking for new ways to use it too!
