25th Anniversary- 9/11/2001. Where were you... what were you doing.... who were you with 25 years ago? The Northern Senior Activity Center had an All-Day Memorial in honor of 9/11 today. Older adults spent time throughout the day in the Social Room in honor of those we lost. "No day shall erase you from the memory of time." The staff offered thoughtful & supportive activities. Calming music, journaling, reminiscing, aromatherapy, reading & mindfulness to name just a few. I was honored to share some soothing & calming instruments that they could use throughout the day during this event. The Ocean Drum & Steel Tongue Drum was favorites today! We will never forget!
