Jen has worked at Asante for over 30 years. She started her career as an X-ray student. For Jen, her work at Three Rivers Medical Center is deeply personal. She is a Grants Pass native who grew up in the valley. Her work at Asante means serving her community, friends and families — and that’s a Mission she is proud to be a part of!

This week, we celebrated Health Care Week at each of our facilities. Every day, our teams show up, share their skills and connect with patients and their families. Whether that’s working as a nurse or physician at the bedside, answering calls in Guest Services or managing supplies in Materials Management, it’s every role, every day, making all the difference. We’re incredibly proud of our teams and their dedication to our communities.

Cancer research, close to home: Exciting work is underway. April is . For the past several weeks, Dr. Estin Yang, an Asante general surgeon, has presented around the Rogue Valley on the research he’s leading to accelerate diagnosis and treatment of this cancer in rural communities. Few physicians nationwide are conducting this level of in-depth research for esophageal cancer in rural areas—and this work is happening here in southern Oregon.
