Love this national recovery month post from SPARK Medina! Books are an amazing way to approach tough topics with kids! If you ever need support and/ or resources… please reach out to us at Hope Recovery Community!!
⚡It's National Recovery Month
We wanted to share our favorite books that we feature in our program that we offer at the Hope Recovery Community farm. If you've been to any of our programs, you know we always read a book and follow up with questions. We feel that a lot can be learned and kids can build empathy through stories. Most of these books have characters experiencing substance use disorders. The picture books, maybe not so much but we picked stories for that age group that talk about having HOPE!
Books are always a great way to talk with kids about tough topics. We are so appreciative of the services that HOPE Recovery Community offers to our community.
