🥑 July 31 - National Avocado Day! 🥑

What better way to celebrate than with fresh, delicious guacamole and a creative craft? Our residents enjoyed dipping chips into homemade guacamole while sharing stories, laughter, and smiles. After our tasty treat, everyone put their creativity to work with an avocado-themed craft that was just as fun as it was colorful!💚🥑

July 30 was International Day of Friendship and we celebrated by creating colorful friendship bracelets and exchanging them with one another. 💙

It was a wonderful way to celebrate the special connections we've made here at Medway Country Manor. From laughter and creativity to kind words and shared smiles, our bracelets became symbols of the friendships that brighten each day. Here's to the friends who make life a little sweeter! 🫶✨

Today we welcomed Scrubs on Wheels for a fun visit! 🩺💙 Our nursing staff enjoyed shopping for new scrubs, and many other team members stopped by to browse and join in the fun. It was a great way to add a little excitement to the day and treat the amazing staff who care for our residents every day!

Today we celebrated National Junk Food Day by treating ourselves to some of our favorite guilty pleasures, while watching a movie of choice - Now You See Me! 🍪🥤🍟

July 21 is all about enjoying those tasty treats we don't indulge in every day, and our residents were happy to join the fun. We snacked on potato chips, Doritos, chocolate chip cookies, vanilla cookies, and washed it all down with an ice-cold Coca-Cola.

The beautiful weather gave us the perfect excuse to head outside! 🌸🌞

Residents enjoyed creating colorful flower pinwheels while taking in the fresh air, chatting with each other, and looking for birds along the way. We also shared conversations about our favorite flowers and the blooms we spotted around us. It was a relaxing morning filled with creativity, laughter, and the simple joys of nature. 🌼🦋

It's always heartwarming to see a couple remain together, even in a nursing home. ❤️

We were honored to celebrate this wonderful couple as they marked 46 years of marriage together on July 13th. Sharing in such a special milestone was a beautiful reminder that love, commitment, and companionship continue to shine through every stage of life.

Our 4th of July celebration was filled with music, laughter, and patriotic spirit as Dan Hart entertained residents with a wonderful selection of patriotic favorites and other familiar tunes. Residents enjoyed singing along, tapping their feet, and celebrating together as we welcomed Independence Day with great music and even better company. 🇺🇸🎶
