Does Cremation affect ones soul Salvation? It is the general concesus biblically to honor, and bury, ones loved ones. Jesus was given a burial place. The Patriarch, Prophets, and King's spake of being buried. However, if a person is burned in a fire or burned in cremation, the state of being dead does not change. All physical matter eventually return to the earth. 1 Corinthians 15:35 in the King James Version (KJV) reads:"But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?". 1 Corinthians 15:53-55 (King James Version))
53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? When Paul address to his topic, it's both Spiritual, and Physical. The two bodies are Body if Christ, the Saints or the wicked, the body of the wicked. The body of Christ will receive an immortal body, and sinless. So, the wicked raised in the second resurrection, is going to receive their regular sinful body. How do we know? Because it's going to die in Hells fire. Plus the wicked will be tempted by Satan to take the city. That's the last sinful act. Ecclesiastes 3:18-20
21st Century King James Version
18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.
19 For that which befalleth the sons of men befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth, so dieth the other. Yea, they have all one breath, so that man hath no preeminence above a beast, for all is vanity.
20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again. Paul addresses that the species remain the same kind it was created to be, it won't change. 1 Corinthians 15:39
“All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.”
King James Version (KJV)
