Mama is busy reworking her practice.
The last few years have been impactful in how I hold space for clients, myself, and my daughter. It’s been a whirlwind of learning, drowning, celebrating and pivoting.
I’ve been pretty absent in the therapist community as I’ve had to pause and ground myself into this new normal. Becoming a single Mama at 47 was such a beautiful gift; however, I failed to consider the shift this would have on my nervous system and health. Even as a therapist you can struggle. It’s been a journey to navigate and while still challenging, I am leaning into this space with gentle anticipation.
While still focusing as a trauma therapist, I am adding online courses with a desire to branch more into working with women 40+ navigating mental health through perimenopause and menopause.
By the end of the year my goal is to start a podcast called, The Joyful Unexpected. The podcast will feature women aged 40+ who have found joy in unexpected places. I am excited to be engaging with likeminded women as we celebrate aging, joy, wellness and everything in between.
Stay tuned for more details. I’m looking forward to taking you on this journey with me.
