Summer can be beautiful—but for many parents, it’s also overstimulating.
More noise.
More snacks.
More messes.
More planning.
More pressure to “make memories.”
If you find yourself feeling touched out, irritable, exhausted, or desperate for alone time, that does not make you a bad parent. It makes you human.
A few things that help:
☀️ Lowering the pressure to make every day magical
☀️ Keeping simple routines where you can
☀️ Taking small moments alone without guilt
☀️ Letting boredom happen sometimes
You do not have to perform perfection to create a meaningful summer for your children.
