Join me this Saturday at 11:00 AM @ the Mississippi Museum of Art for a little whimsy!

We’ll be kicking off Barktoberfest with a puppy yoga class in the Art Garden.

Honestly, can think of a better way to start your weekend than meeting me on the mat with some puppies, some gentle movements, lots of giggles and dopamine from seeing so many cute dogs and people, and then dilly-dallying throughout the rest of the day.

I think I just planned your Saturday plans in Jackson, Ms.

This is the perfect class if you’re looking for some stress relief or to try something new in the area. Come and meet me on the mat. You deserve it.

Wellness is for every body.

Grateful to everyone who met me on the mat this past Saturday for the second class of the Sipp&Stretch series. (🔗link in bio for email list) I don’t know how many times I heard “I needed this” but it is a sweet reminder that we all deserve time to be present in our bodies, mindful of our emotions, and willing to show up for ourselves.

We’ll be on our mats this Saturday, starting at 9:00 AM (ish 😂) at the green space right outside of Sippsi Good Tea. And then you can float your way over to Sippsi and grab a refreshing tea, stay for a while and yap with your folks or meet a stranger, then go into the weekend knowing your prioritized your wellbeing first.

Home taught me wellbeing and continues to do so.

No matter where I’ve lived, I always came home when I need to gather my thoughts, gather me, find respite, clarity…peace of mind.

There’s an unspoken but felt soft-landing here for those of us whose ancestors imagined, hoped, prayed, joyed for a day where we would exist.

What a lineage to learn from, to sit at the foot of blades of grass, of church mothers, and conure women, and beautiful brown and sun and green….

Grateful for y’all taking the time to allow yourself space to slow down, breath, and be present with your body.

This Saturday we’re coming back welcoming the Fall season and imagining what can be true of the future.
