Loneliness is a public health issue.

New research published in World Psychiatry highlights the critical connection between social cohesion and mental health.

The research points to the importance of devoting increased attention to factors that promote mental well-being in the whole population. This is at the heart of the Clubhouse Model. Clubhouses create communities where people belong, participate and are valued.

Join Genesis Club as we say goodbye to our colleagues who just completed two-week Comprehensive Clubhouse Training at Genesis Club. We were delighted to host colleagues from Horizon House, (Wakefield, MA), House of Dreams, (Menominee, MI), A Place of Our Own, (Detroit, MI), Fountain House Harlem, (New York), and Capitol Clubhouse, (Augusta, ME). Today they’ll finalize their action plans which will guide their efforts over the next year. We can’t wait to see all that you accomplish! Thanks for being with us!
