This video was taken back in 2011. At 41 years old, I thought I was getting old, so I decided I would compete one more time.

In the spring, before I started my diet, I weighed 310 pounds. By competition day, I stepped on stage at 245 pounds.

That year, I won the Masters division at the Great Lakes Bodybuilding Show.

Looking back now, it's funny how perspective changes. At 41, I thought I was getting old. Today, I look at 41 and think, "That's still young."

Time has a way of changing how we see things, but the memories, hard work, and lessons stay with us. 💪

When you break promises to yourself, you don't just lose progress in that moment, you weaken the belief that you can rely on yourself in the future.
