Happy Labor Day! 🩷🩵

Teachers, today’s assignment is simple: RELAX. 😌 No lesson plans, no emails, no classroom prep, and PLEASE don’t open that laptop “just for a second.” 😂

You’ve worked hard, poured into your students, and survived the first few weeks of school. Today, give yourself permission to rest, recharge, and enjoy a well-deserved day OFF! 💕✨

The work will still be there tomorrow… unfortunately. 😭😂

Work will have you stressed OUT if you let it! 😭 But sometimes you have to remind yourself to breathe, pray, and let it go. 🙏🏾💕

Whatever unexpected curveball was thrown your way, whatever changed without warning, and whatever feels overwhelming right now… IT WILL work out. You may not know how yet, but you don’t have to have all the answers today.

Do what you can, pray about what you can’t control, and protect your peace in the process. 💗 Philippians 4:6 is the reminder: pray more, worry less. 😇

Whatever happens this week, I’m choosing to believe that God has already worked it out. 🙌🏾✨

💃🏾🪩 DANCE BREAK FRIDAY! 🪩💃🏾

Another week in the books, and baby… WE MADE IT! 😭🙌🏾 Between the lessons, the questions, the repeating myself 47 times, the random chaos, and everything in between—I think we’ve earned a little dance break! 😂

Sometimes you just gotta turn the music up, dance it out, and celebrate the fact that you survived another week in teacher land! 🍎✨

Happy Friday, teachers! Go ahead and hit that little dance—you deserve it! 😂💃🏾

One of the joys of being considered “one of the good ones,” “flexible,” and “a fast learner” is that somehow you always end up being expected to do MORE than the typical. 😭😂

Like yes, I can adapt. Yes, I can figure it out. Yes, I can handle hard things…

BUT CAN THE ONES THAT CAN HANDLE IT CATCH A BREAK SOMETIMES?! 😭😭 SHEESH!

Just because I can do hard things doesn’t mean I want to keep getting volunteered for them. 🥲😂

Before they care about the lesson, sometimes they need to know that YOU care about them. 💕

Building connections with our students doesn't mean throwing expectations out the window. It means learning who they are, listening to them, celebrating their growth, giving grace when needed, and creating a classroom where they feel seen and valued. 🫶🏽

And sometimes building that relationship is as simple as listening to the 10-minute story they insist you need to hear before you start teaching. 😂😭

Those little moments matter!

I want my colors VIBRANT 🌈✨ and the prints nice and opaque—not that thin, see-through look where the shirt color shows through the design. 😭 I like that nice whitish base on the back that makes the design POP!
