Shout out to super patch this morning. After my workout (leg day), my legs were shaking like crazy. I put on the victory patch which supports muscle activation. Within seconds I had more stability and no feeling like my legs were going to give out on me.

I should have remembered to put this in before the workout, but…

DM me patch if this peaks your interest.

There's a moment in this episode where I stop being the host and just talk.

I was taking one of Melody and Walter's blends - Alchemy. About three weeks in, I was so conflicted about a business relationship. Nothing wrong with it on paper. I just couldn't shake how off it felt, and I couldn't explain why.

"I ended that business relationship because I didn't know what to do with it at the time. And it began to open doors for other opportunities."

That decision eventually led to some other big changes which were hard, but I knew it was the right thing. But since doing that, the freedom that's come has been really remarkable.

If you've ever felt off about something you couldn't put into words yet — this one's for you. Full conversation is up now, whenever you're ready for it.

Melody Watts said something on the podcast that reframed how I think about symptoms: your emotional patterns don't stay emotional, they show up in your body. Buried anger shows up as liver congestion. Buried grief shows up as asthma. Buried fear or abandonment lands in the kidneys and bladder.

Here's how she knew her own formulas were actually working: not a lab number, a behavior change. Four weeks on her Vitality blend, and for the first time in 10 years she worked out consistently without quitting after two weeks. That's not a supplement doing its job. That's a nervous system finally letting go of a pattern it had been running for a decade.

If that lands for you, the link's in my bio — code RANDY10 gets you 10% off.

On this week's episode of Restore the Real, Melody Watts told a story that stopped me in my tracks. She'd just had a realization about a pattern she'd been running her whole life; getting so hyper-focused on one thing that everyone else around her disappeared. She turned to her husband Walter, sure this was a brand-new insight.

His response: "Yeah, I've been telling you that for ten years."

That's the thing about patterns. Sometimes the people closest to us have been naming them all along; we just weren't in a place to hear it yet. Melody and Walter built Somatica Formulas around exactly that gap: the space between knowing something intellectually and actually feeling it enough to change.

Nine months ago I started taking a supplement line that didn't just support me physically, it started showing me things about myself I'd been avoiding for years.

Next week on Restore the Real, I'm sitting down with Melody and Walter Watts, founders of Somatica Formulas; a somatic healer and a body code / emotion code practitioner who combined flower essences, essential oils, and frequency into something I haven't found anywhere else.

We get into:
-Why awareness always has to come before change, and why you can't skip that step -The moment I realized a blend was surfacing something I'd been avoiding in my own business
-How patterns from years (sometimes generations) back can keep showing up in the body long after you think you've "dealt with it"
-Their vision for this work: healed people don't hurt people

Episode drops Aug 25. Subscribe so you don't miss it.

Only 20-30% of Lyme patients ever get the rash. The rest get told "you don't have that, so you must not have it."

Dr. Somer DelSignore on why Lyme is one of the most missed diagnoses in medicine, and why some practitioners still say "I don't believe in Lyme" despite the fact that it's testable.

If your fatigue, brain fog, headaches, or muscle aches never got connected to a possible tick-borne infection because you never had the rash, this is your sign to ask again.

Only 20-30% of kids with Lyme ever get the telltale rash. The rest get sent home with "probably nothing" while their fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, or sudden anxiety gets written off as growing pains. Pediatric nurse practitioner Dr. Somer DelSignore has spent two decades and one very personal fight with her own daughter's illness; learning to see past the missing rash to what's actually going on.

In this episode, we talk about why Lyme is one of medicine's great imitators, the vectors beyond ticks that nobody warns you about (yes, lice and fleas too), and why chasing symptoms one at a time rarely gets a chronically ill kid better. Her approach: validate first, sequence second, treat third, because your kid didn't change, their immune system did.

If you're a parent who's been told "it's probably nothing" and knows in your gut it's something, this one's for you.

I sat down with Sachin Patel, founder of Living Proof and creator of the Living Light Reset, and we covered a lot of ground.

We started with something personal... my wife recently discovered through a genetic test that methylated B vitamins were making her feel worse, not better. Once she stopped taking them, she felt significantly better. Her results confirmed it: her body needed non-methylated B's instead. It's a good reminder that what works for one person can work against another, even when it "should" help.

From there we got into the Living Light Genetics test and why it's often more useful for telling you what NOT to do than what to do, how genetics fits into your health plan, and why the last 20% of nuance is what separates "fine" from "great."

The second half of the conversation went somewhere I love—identity. Sachin's take: we're all born as a kind of golden statue, and life just keeps handing us shirts to put on (this label, that expectation, this role) until most of us forget what's underneath. Getting to know your biology is one path back to that. So is the harder, quieter work of figuring out who you actually are.

If you've ever felt like you were doing "everything right" and still not quite there, give this one a listen.

Where you hold weight is not random.

Your body is not just storing fat arbitrarily. It is giving you information about what is happening underneath the surface.

Weight around the midsection often points to elevated cortisol and a nervous system that has been stuck in stress mode for too long.

Weight in the hips and thighs can reflect estrogen dominance and how your body is managing hormones.

Difficulty losing weight despite doing everything right can indicate thyroid function that needs support.

Your body is not working against you. It is communicating with you. And when you know how to read those signals, you stop fighting your body and start working with it.

This is one of the things we go deep on in my free webinar July 18th. Why weight loss feels impossible and what your body is actually trying to tell you.
