ForzaCare

ForzaCare Results-driven case management solutions Behind every movement, there is a moment. In Italian, ‘Forza’ means strength or force.

ForzaCare’s moment began in 2022 when we were founded with the goal of creating a purpose-driven culture that provides premium solutions to the markets we serve. ForzaCare helps injured persons get better faster by coordinating clinically appropriate care. Our team of nurse case managers work with claims professionals, providers and injured persons in a transparent, honest and intentional manner t

o keep everyone on the same page as we coordinate care and help injured employees return to work. Within our company name, forza represents the strength of our team providing encouragement to the people we work with every day. We couple that with ‘Care’ as we compassionately work to restore the lives of individuals who have been injured. ForzaCare is a purpose-driven company that is guided by our core values. Our strength doesn’t stem from a single individual or idea but from our collective team of uniquely talented individuals coming together as a greater force coming together. For workers in high-stress industries such as construction, manufacturing, healthcare, and public safety, the psychological toll of a serious injury or traumatic event on the job can be just as disabling as the physical one. Fear of reinjury, hypervigilance, sleep disruption, and withdrawal from work identity are all barriers that standard medical care doesn't address.

Our case managers are trained to recognize the signs of psychological distress and connect injured workers to the behavioral health resources they need.

For injured workers who can't return to their former role, the question isn't just "when can they go back?" It's "where do they go from here?"

ForzaCare's vocational case managers specialize in exactly that transition. They conduct labor market surveys, assess transferable skills, coordinate retraining, and work closely with employers to identify modified or alternative duty options that fit the worker's abilities and the employer's needs.

Vocational case management isn't a last resort. It's a strategic intervention that helps injured workers find a meaningful path forward, and helps employers resolve complex, long-duration claims.

NCCI's 2026 State of the Line shows lost-time claim frequency declined 2% in 2025 continuing a long-term trend. But severity is rising, meaning the claims that do occur are costing more.

What that tells us: the average workers' comp claim today carries more clinical complexity, more medical cost, and more indemnity exposure than it did a decade ago.

That's not an argument for doing less. It's an argument for doing more, earlier. Early nurse case management intervention is specifically designed for high-complexity claims.

A timely reminder that workplace safety isn't just a compliance requirement. It's a commitment to every worker that their employer has their back. When injuries do happen, early and proactive case management makes a measurable difference in recovery outcomes.

Our case managers are embedded in the recovery process from day one - coordinating care, removing barriers, and advocating for injured workers every step of the way. This month, we're honoring the workers and the professionals who protect them.

Think...Presence

Some of what shapes a recovery can't be seen on a claim file.

The worker who's stopped going to appointments. The spouse who mentions he hasn't been sleeping. The subtle shift in someone's affect that tells an experienced nurse something isn't adding up.

That's what field case management makes possible and it's what telephonic case management works to replicate through consistent, trust-building contact.

Presence isn't just physical. It's clinical attention. It's showing up with enough consistency that an injured worker actually tells you what's going on.

In a claim that involves mental health barriers, that presence can be the difference between a recovery that stalls and one that moves.

Only half of injured workers who haven't returned to work within 12 weeks will ever return to work.
That's not primarily a medical statistic. It's a psychosocial one.

Fear of re-injury. Loss of work identity. Disconnection from colleagues. Financial strain. These are the barriers that stall recovery long after the physical injury has healed, and they're exactly what vocational case managers are trained to address.

This Mental Health Awareness Month, our latest article explores the gap between medical clearance and actual return, and what it takes to close it.

📈🩺💼 90% return to work. 5:1 ROI. $14k in average savings per case.

Numbers like these don't happen by accident. They're the result of nurse case managers who show up early, coordinate relentlessly, and keep the injured worker at the center of every decision.

That's what nurse-led field case management delivers.

🧠📊💚 Nearly half of all lost-time workers' comp claimants face at least one psychosocial barrier to recovery and most of them go unaddressed until the claim is already in trouble.

Fear of re-injury. Pain catastrophizing. Perceived injustice. Social isolation. These aren't soft concerns. They're measurable, research-documented predictors of claim duration, return-to-work success, and total cost.

➡️Our latest article explores the clinical and operational evidence behind psychosocial barriers in workers' compensation: what they are, how they develop, and why field case managers are uniquely positioned to identify them early and change the trajectory of a claim.

Field case management works best when it's close to the worker. That means your case manager needs to actually be there.

ForzaCare field case managers are deployed in key markets across the U.S. — including bilingual support where the workforce demands it. We're now expanding into California, deepening our reach where workers need it most.
