Mental health matters -so do you!

Stretching and mobility may not be the most exciting part of your workout, but they're some of the most important.

Think of it as an investment in your future body.

• Improve how you move
• Support healthy joints
• Recover more efficiently
• Build better movement patterns
• Help reduce stiffness
• Stay active for years to come

You don't have to spend an hour doing it-even 5-10 minutes consistently can make a difference.

Your future self will thank you.

Recovery essentials I packed for travel ✈️

This week especially, I'm staying on top of my recovery and making sure I have these within reach at all times. My back (and honestly, my whole body) needs the extra love and it's appreciating it more than ever.
• Heating pad - Helps relax tight muscles, increase circulation, and ease stiffness.

• Muscle relief (Biofreeze, Tiger Balm, CBD, etc.) - Provides quick, targeted relief for sore or overworked areas.

• Massage tools (lacrosse ball, foam roller, Lotus Wheels)
- Releases muscle tension, improves mobility, and helps work out stubborn knots.

•TENS unit - Helps temporarily relieve pain by stimulating the nerves and can reduce muscle tension when I'm flaring up.

• Massage gun - Loosens tight muscles, increases blood flow, and helps reduce stiffness after long travel days.

Recovery isn't just something I focus on after a workout, it's something | prioritize every single day, especially when I'm traveling. Taking care of your body now helps it take care of you later.

Have you cold plunged this week?

Let me know your thoughts on this recovery method!

Before you buy another recovery supplement… you might want to try this first. 🥶👇

I’ve always loved cold plunges, but with the back pain I’ve been dealing with, they’re becoming a more regular part of my recovery routine.

Some of my favorite benefits:
• Helps reduce post-workout muscle soreness
• Temporary relief from joint aches and pain
• Supports recovery after tough workouts
• Gives you a natural boost in dopamine and norepinephrine, which can leave you feeling more energized and focused
• Teaches your body to stay calm under stress
• May improve circulation
• Builds mental toughness

I did 52° for 5 minutes, but if you’re new to cold plunges, I’d recommend starting around 50–59° for about a minute and building from there. Your body adapts over time, so you don’t have to stay in forever to get the benefits.

Have you tried a cold plunge yet? 🤍
